Went live on Wednesday in the Netherlands. 2 1/2 hours joyride in the Star Wars galaxy. And it was a joy to watch. Same director as the Force Awakens and it shares the same pace and atmosphere. This is kind of the Force Awakens part 2. Which is good. Brilliant mix of old and new. Closing all ends.

Two French orphans escape to 19th century Paris. One dreams of being a famous Ballet performer. The other dreams of being an inventor.

Obviously, the heroine becomes a true hero, with the help of the inventor. This is great children's movie, also very enjoyable for a father. In 3D it is more exciting to watch than Rogue One in IMAX.

The setting in the 19th century Paris is excellent. Gustav Eiffel lived then and there, need I say more?

The French movie is really the best Christmas holiday feel-good movie, that you need to end 2016. Still worthwhile watching 2017 onward, though.

a Dutch Father and Son (conflicting characters) both see their relationship ending. They travel to Edinburgh, Scotland for a book promotion. Love is all around, especially the love for music.

This is all supported by the brilliant music of the Waterboys. They are an 80s one-hit wonder band (the Whole of the Moon). The band created a dozen of the most brilliant albums, all written by Mike Scott. The soundtrack of the movie is superb.

For a Dutch movie this is a classic. For a father-son movie this story is also very well told and acted.

A must see film.
