Dangerous Game: The Legacy Murders
(2022)

Um...okay
First off I want to say I didnt hate this movie, but I didn't like it either. There are some redeeming qualities with sets and lighting. Some of the acting was good some was heinous. I think there could have been a good story and thriller in this but they just went for the gore and forgot to develop a plausible plot. It seemed to build slowly and then tell you everything all at once. I wish it would have played the game out more and solved the actual mystery in the clues and evidence instead of they way they did it. It was anticlimactic and predictable. I saw that ending coming a mile away. I really wish they would have picked one theme, is it a murder mystery, saw like escape room, or an uncover deep family secrets movie... very few people could pull them all off in one film and this definitely wasn't it.

Christmas with the Campbells
(2022)

Awkward
I'm maybe 30 minutes into this film right now and I'm regretting my decision to watch it. Justin Long is usually a good actor but what the hell is this?? The accent and attempt to sound more "manly" is embarrassing. He's trying so hard that it is over shadowing any chemistry he could have had with Brittany Snow. Even his interactions with the dog are awkward and forced. I don't know if I can actually finish this movie. Its only saving grace is the side characters. I like the mom and Joanna Swisher. I actually really like all these actors which is why it's so disappointing that this movie isn't good.

Until We Meet Again
(2022)

Ummm... not sure where to start
So this was entertaining for all the wrong reasons. I was laughing so hard at the ridiculousness of it all. A ghost that eats, drinks, cooks, and showers like what?! But I completely lost it at ghost sex... yes that happened. There are no more words.

Superstore
(2015)

Love it
I love this show and am so sad it's over. I found it recently and when I finished it for the first time, I immediately started it over. I cant get enough. The characters are so well written and the actors are perfect. I feel like it could have gone on for much longer. I love Dina, Cheyenne, Garrett, and Sandra so much.

I Met a Girl
(2020)

Good but I'm Confused...
I'll start by saying I enjoyed this film. The acting was good, the ride was worth it, but I am confused about the fall from the building... like was that not actually a thing? Was that all in his head? Am I over analyzing or did i just not pay close enough attention to the film? I thought for sure we would circle back and he'd be in a coma from the fall just imagining everything the whole time. Anyways the film was good I definitely would have written a darker ending but thats probably why no one wants me to make movies.

Saved by the Bell
(2020)

If you don't compare it to the og, its campy but not bad
Okay I hated it during the first 2 episodes, but for some reason I kept watching and it actually grew on me. Is the acting great, no. Does it have the same appeal as the original, no. Are the characters well developed, no. Buy if you separate it from the original and just watch it for what it is, its a cute show. I would watch another season.

Touched
(2014)

It was okay
There are a few things I liked about this film, forcing it to be a romance was not one of them. The "relationship" Emma had with Justin was forced and came out of nowhere for me, there was not enough build up to make it believable. The relationship she had with Norma was great though, I enjoyed watching that story develop and cared about how it ended up. I dont feel like we got any background or real understanding of the broken relationship with Norma and Justin though, I have no idea what happened there. Overall it was a little slow and underdeveloped but I stuck it out. I liked the sets and backdrop though and the acting was good.

Feel the Beat
(2020)

I wanted to like it but it fell short for me.
Sure it was cute, but it lacked proper comedic timing. It was like someone was counting down to a joke or setting it up for you to know the joke was about to happen. There were also so many missing background/character builds. I literally know nothing about these kids and couldn't even keep straight which ones were which. I wish it would have focused on the relationship between the kids and the teacher instead of the high school boyfriend that got left behind. We didn't need a love story; we needed a properly developed redemption and underdog prevails story. I also feel like it went from she's horrible to she's the best way too easily, she never made ammends or apologized for anything.

Sweet Magnolias
(2020)

Great
Its such a great show. I couldn't stop watching. I felt like it was one of the first shows in awhile that I could related to. It made me cry, laugh, call my best friend, hug my momma, just all the things.. I highly recommend it.

We Are Columbine
(2018)

Not what you expect
This documentary doesn't solely focus on the tragedy that happened April 20,1999 but instead on the lives of a few students that were freshman at the time and what their experiences were before, during, and after the shooting. It was a great perspective to see and I found it just as harrowing as the gory details of that day. I was a freshman in high school at the same time and I remember this day and seeing it all unfold on the news like it was yesterday. I would recommend this film. The only criticism I have is that the film maker didn't tell her story.

Summer Night
(2019)

Couldn't wait until the end to review
This film wants to be dazed and confused so badly it's embarrassing. They did zero character or plot development. I'm about halfway in and I don't know anyones name or have a connection to anyone. There is zero chemistry between these characters, the friendships or the romantic relationships. We get zero background on anyone. I can't find one thing good to say about it. I don't think I can finish it.

Equals
(2015)

It ended right when it started to get really good
Good movie but the most disappointing ending!! It took so long to build the world and the character's story lines that by the time I was invested and wanting to see what happens it ends. I wont spoil it for anyone but I think the real story is what happens next. I need a sequel!!

A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish
(2019)

Just no...
I don't even know where to start, there was so much awful in this movie. From the auto-tune to the flimsy "hidden" identity to the snow globe subplot... just no. I watch so many stupid cheesy movies, I love them and have really low standards so if I think it's bad then its really really bad. I am trying to find anything I liked about this right now and I cant. Ohhhh the dog, he was cute.

Santa Girl
(2019)

Problematic but interesting
I wasn't sure about this movie. The title alone was a little cringy, but I gave it a shot. I liked the Sam romance it felt genuine but the "other" romance made me so uncomfortable. I think Sam is probably the best actor in the bunch, loved him as Ned, but everyone else seemed a little choppy to me. Santa is a dick that treats everyone poorly and we never see any remorse or resolve for that. Also Jack Frost's face looks like a horror movie. However, I will say I found myself wanting to watch it again so that's why I gave it a higher star rating.

If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd
(2018)

Great but backing music too loud
The film was great. I have been a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan since I was a little girl. My dad and I used to sit in the garage and listen to their music for hours. The only reason I rated this less than 10 was because of the backing music, it was so loud I couldn't hear half of the interviews, which was really disappointing. I feel like I missed so much because of it. I think an edit and re-release is necessary.
