The Dark Pictures: Little Hope
(2020)

I appreciate its originality
The Dark Pictures' follow up to Man of Medan comes Little Hope. An original horror that grabs your attention from start to finish. And with a talented cast, like Will Poulter. Now known for Guardians of the Galaxy 3. This is a good video game sequel. It's bold, daring and fearless that they've decided to make this convincing as a serious horror, with a good soundtrack, good 60fps recently, and the story is a never been told before experience. Gameplay is still stiff when it comes to movement with the characters. Needs to be more flexible. Ending was a tiny anti-climatic if I'm being honest, nonetheless it's a good game in general. Not one to miss.

Laura's Story
(2019)

A very harsh and grounded look on reality
Megan Groves is mesmerizing as the titular character Laura, along with the supporting cast in this hard-hitting drama, especially with it's own producer Kellyann Summers. Laura has second thoughts about going to her own birthday outing but her friend Kaylee insists that they carry out the evening's entertainment. There they encounter two men that would change their lives forever - James and Tom. The film is not made for everyone, and rightly so. It's a much more grounded take on the subject matter that a lot of people had faced. It doesn't care about upsetting the viewers and it's brutal ending certainly makes a heavy impact that will leave you wanting more.

Not a bad concept
This show/web series follows a troubled young man as he seeks vengeance upon the criminal who violated his sister and mother. The story isn't too bad but the camera work was off and there sound can be a little hard to hear most times.

Evil Never Dies
(2014)

Once you give it a chance. It ain't that half bad
John Mangan's debut screenwriting does himself credit in this strange supernatural gangster thriller. Especially made with such a low budget crew. I really enjoyed this from start to finish. Music was really epic. Most epic thing I've seen set in Norfolk.
