The execution is a mess
It's like watching an action movie for kids. I distinctly remember in the first episode how the main character stomped his own forehead on the table, but when their head lifted, the one bleeding and oozing blood wasn't the forehead in the middle but the side of his head. Like, WHATTT??? Even though the middle of his forehead should've been the spot when his head hit the table, it looked smooth without any scratches. It's utterly ridiculous. That's just the first episode, in the following episodes, there are even more nonsensical scenes that make the show increasingly absurd.

The premise seems promising, but the execution is a mess. I don't know if it's the director's fault, the editor's, the scriptwriter's, the makeup team's, or whoever is involved, but they all seem to be working together to ruin this show. Many scenes look like cheap soap operas from various aspects.

The storyline is rambling and dragging. There are so many unnecessary scenes thrown into the story when it could've flowed just fine without wasting time.

I tried to keep watching even though I lost interest, but I only made it to episode 6. I don't want to waste any more of my time.

The main female lead is overly forced to appear as an angelic figure.

Anyway, this is still a Korean drama. So, the movie doesn't steer away from unrealistic scenarios.

Where else do you see a character in a movie fascinated while looking at zombies? Where else do you see someone gazing at zombies as if they're staring at their lover in slow motion? It's like a cheap soap opera execution with a zombie twist. I swear, I couldn't help but laugh when those scenes suddenly turned into typical soap opera chase sequences. Then it dawned on me, this is actually a zombie horror story.

On top of that, the character development for the main female lead is highly unrealistic. It's overly forced to appear as an angelic figure.

'Okay' but not remarkable.
The actor portraying Jun-Kyung really distracting to me. Instead of depicting a cold yet respectful CEO, he seems more like a lifeless soul. His eyes are like a dead fish's, empty, expressionless, devoid of any spark. The epitome of dead fish eyes. I understand he's aiming for a 'quiet yet cool demeanor' vibe, but it's a total miss. He's like a living mummy, moving but soulless. The most consistent and captivating performances throughout the show are from those playing Si-Hyeon and Jin Tae-Jeon. They both remain consistent in their roles from start to finish, which is truly impressive. On the other hand, the actress playing Seo Ari delivers a decent performance but fails to leave a lasting impression. She's suitable for the role, but unfortunately, her performance doesn't quite steal the spotlight. "Okay" is probably the best way to describe her performance in this show. 'Okay' but not remarkable.

While the storyline premise is intriguing, its execution feels more like a dragged-out soap opera plot
Here's my take on this series:

Premise: 8/10 The premise of this show is genuinely good, I swear. However, there's this strong soap opera vibe that the director brings in, which kind of takes away from its potential.

Screenplay: 5/10 With such a good premise, it's a shame that the screenplay is quite drawn-out. Many unnecessary scenes are dramatized to the point that this otherwise great show feels like a cheesy soap opera. I'm sure it would be much less 'soap opera' if the writer cut out the unnecessary scenes that don't give impact to the plot. This series could have been wrapped up in just 12 episodes and would have saved a lot of budget.

Acting: 6/10 No, seriously, I'm not a hater. I don't even know most of the main cast. So this is purely from my neutral standpoint. I feel like most of the actors here aren't giving their best performance, especially the one playing Beom-jin. After some digging, turns out Beom-jin's actor is the most popular among the other cast, but he's the one that bothers me the most. There are some villains here, like Gi-hoon, Joon-jae, Beom-jin. But Gi-hoon and Joon-jae managed to portray their villains in their own way. They're natural in their roles without seeming forced. While Beom-jin, I'm not sure if he can't handle his character well or he's just not a good actor. There's something odd about the way he portrays Beom-jin. His acting isn't consistent, sometimes he does it fairly well, but most of the time not. Jaw-jutting and glaring are typical cheap soap opera angry acting we've seen. And that's what he's doing in this show. The way Beom-jin gets angry is really like watching your average soap opera actor. And honestly, his acting seems much more forced compared to other villains in this show. Whether it's his fault or the director's, I don't know.

Scoring: 5/10 Everything feels overly dramatic. Simple scenes that could've been conveyed through dialogue are drowned in excessive dramatic music. And sometimes there's a song in the middle of conversations, no, I'm not kidding, it's literally a background song playing amidst the dialogue between the characters. And it's not a romantic scene with a song playing, it's a regular conversation scene between students. Really weird.

My conclusion: While the storyline premise is intriguing, its execution feels more like a dragged-out soap opera plot. Like i said, this show could've been wrapped up in just 12 episodes, but the excessive drama and flashback scenes make it drag on for 16 episodes. Even after sitting through 16 (each 1 hour long), the mastermind behind the murders didn't face the consequences he deserved, which was quite disappointing. Save your 16 hours for watching another show.

The main actor couldn't pull off the dual role.
Explaining the 'Kevin' and 'Ezhil' scenes throughout the movie diminishes the mystery element. Introducing who 'Kevin' and 'Ezhil' are at the beginning might be seen as character introduction. But if it's repeatedly done throughout the film, it actually reflects the actor's inability to portray dual roles. What the filmmakers seem to have forgotten is that identical twins look alike only in physical appearance,-remember, just physically. Not emotionally, body gesture, or their way of moving. Here, the actor didn't bring out any differences in body language between Ezhil and Kavin. I have identical twin cousins and though they look the same, they have distinct body language differences.

Flying heroes, sexist jokes and women objectification
A typical Indian movie that is often mocked on social media. Flying heroes, sexist jokes and women objectification. The movie romanticizes the woman harassment over and over again and you know what happens? In no time the abused woman is crazy about the man who abused her. Like, seriously????? This movie is a real hypocritical movie.

The movie is almost 3 hours long, if only the director had removed the harassment part that Hero did to his Heroin, the movie would have been pretty good. The harassment scenes have absolutely no effect on the plot of the movie. Without the romanticized abuse scenes, the film would have been fine.

queerbaiting teen movie
This is a typical queerbaiting teen movie with a clichéd romance drama. There's nothing inherently wrong with clichéd teen movies; I often enjoy such films. However, there's nothing new about the story's premise. It follows the same formula you'd find in many other teen romance movies - two high school girls loving the same guy. The core of the film revolves around their feelings for this guy. You can pretty much predict the rest.

This film is overrated if it's considered a LGBTQ-themed movie. If you're seeking LGBTQ representation, this film isn't for you. It lacks any representation of queer life or queer characters.

But if you're looking for a typical teen romance drama, then this film might suit your taste. Despite the predictable plot, you can easily guess how the story goes.

A clichéd teen movie
There's nothing wrong with clichéd teen movies; I often enjoy such films. However, the screenplay is quite poor. Somehow, the plot feels rushed yet dull. The character development is very shallow.

Just with a quick shallow hasty conversation, you managed to win the heart of someone who didn't like you at the first meeting, leading to an intimate relationship with them. After that, you both became a couple in deep love and inseparable from each other. Like????? What just happened?

I had to rewatch some parts because I thought I missed some important scenes. But no, I didn't miss any important parts but this is what the story looks like. It's very fast-paced without strong character development.

Screenplay 4/10 Scoring 6/10 Acting 7/10.

The premise is pretty good, but the execution is quite poor.
I'm not an Indian, so I'll give an honest opinion about the movie without exaggeration. The premise of the movie is pretty good, how small pieces of stories in each generation build up and become a bigger story. But I have to admit, there were many parts that were quite boring. These parts were not necessary in the movie, but it didn't take away from the main essence of the movie.

This movie is quite long, showing scenes that are not important but omitting important scenes. There are many unanswered questions from this movie but they are forced to end. I don't know, the duration of this film is quite long but they spent it on unnecessary scenes.

The movie seemed raw but forced to be shown. There were many scenes that were still very rough. For example, there was one scene with the same angle of the camera that was stuck together from several takes. It looked like two different footages were put together, making it look very weird. Sorry, but even in a film school, such mistakes wouldn't be made.

The only message I could take away from this movie is how men's egos can ruin the lives of those around them. All the men in this movie believed that women's lives were their responsibility, and that mindset was quite disgusting.

From the acting side, there was nothing outstanding. The most impressive were Saleema and the mute statue maker. Their acting was good enough to catch attention. The rest of the cast didn't have any notable performances.

The actor doesn't show specific body gestures to differentiate these twin characters.
This is good, disgusting, sad, and bad all at the same time.

The good points for me are: 1. The story premise is built simply.

2. The ending of the story is unpredictable and quite surprising.

3. The disgusting point is the fact that a police officer can rape a woman and walk free without any punishment or sanctions. That part is really disgusting to me.

The sad point is that the movie shows that a woman who is a victim of domestic violence does not receive special protection from the state. She will only receive protection from anyone who pities her. There are no special shelters or safe places provided by the state to accommodate vulnerable groups like this. And this fact is really sad.

And the bad point for me is that the actor who plays Vinod and Pramod doesn't show specific body gestures to differentiate these two characters. Their body gestures and every small movement they make are exactly the same, and there is no difference. You know, no matter how identical twin faces are, they always have some different body gestures. I'm not talking about the physical aspect, I'm talking about body gestures, and every twin couple always has differences in gestures when they do something.

In addition, another bad point is that the hair department team has a confusing performance. First, you can differentiate between Pramod who has neat wavy hair and Vinod who has messy curly hair as you can see in the film poster and in the some scenes. But there are many parts where Pramod has the exact same messy curly hairstyle as Vinod. So you can only differentiate between Pramod and Vinod if someone mentions their names. Moreover, the actor doesn't show specific body gestures to differentiate between Pramod and Vinod, so they really look like the same 1 person. The actor is not impressive enough in portraying the twin characters.

The king ran out of money for electricity after building the castle.
You know the consequence of having a big house is a high electricity power, but it seems like the owner of this house ran out of money for electricity after building the big house lol. The horror vibe is overdone because every corner of the house looks dark. I mean, this isn't an abandoned house. It's occupied by many people with many servants, but the house looks neglected, outdated and dark. Meanwhile, the queen goes to lavish parties and comes back to a dark castle, which doesn't make sense because she doesn't seem bothered by the lack of light in her home. Anyone would invest in good house lighting, especially if they have an abundance of money. There are many unanswered questions about the lighting situation because it's just illogical and confusing.

Moreover, the only actor who delivered a great performance was the one who played Dr. Shekhawat. The other actors didn't deliver their lines well and were sometimes confusing. The female lead had the same expression throughout the entire movie, with no difference between her expressions of fear and surprise. Meanwhile, the male lead who played Kapil didn't show an impressive performance. Even the actor who played Rana grabbed more attention with his acting abilities. He was able to portray Rana's lofty arrogant, smug and belittling character quite well. You could hate Rana every time he opened his mouth, which means his acting was successful.

It shows you how politics, police, and media work.
Realistic movies can sometimes be boring, but not this one. It shows the reality of how politics and police works, and how the media controls what happens.

You'll get a disappointing ending, but that's the reality you face. It's how people in power oppress and control those beneath them. The lower your position is, the greater the chance for you to become a scapegoat in the dirty games of politicians. That's reality.

The performances of all the actors were good and complemented each other to drive the story. But the actor who played the overweight drunk police officer was very interesting and stole the show.

I'm not Indian and I don't know any actors in this film, so I can be honest about it.
I'm not Indian and I don't know any of the actors in this film, so I'll say that those who gave it a 10/10 score are biased or maybe even lying in their reviews. It's not a bad movie, but it's not an amazing must-watch either. There are still a lot of plot holes. I got pretty sleepy during the 40+ minutes of the movie and the romance parts were boring and excessive. Some scenes even seemed irrelevant and didn't contribute to the main story. But hey, it's Bollywood, known for its dramatic romance stories.

The twist was pretty good and entertaining, and I was really impressed by the acting skills of the female lead. The makeup team also did an incredible job, as you could clearly see the difference in Neha Grover's face before and during her pregnancy. Her face looked puffy but natural, and I've seen many of my friends look like that during pregnancy, so I thought the makeup was really well done.

The movie gets a higher rating from me because of Yami's performance. As for the male actors, none of them stood out. The actor who played Ankit didn't steal the show as well as Yami did. He played his role decently, but he wasn't impressive. For me, he could easily be replaced by another actor without losing the essence of the film.
