Umi ga kikoeru
(1993)

A trip down the memory lane
I watched this movie when i was a teenager and for some reason i didn't have the courage to see it again . Maybe because it was too real and relatable to me. Saw it after 11 years and all the memories came back at me.

When you are young you only think of the future , but as you grow older you start to look back on things. Ironic isn't it? Things that you took for granted seem to have a new meaning to them. People you were all the time with in school -propably thought you are gonna be together forever , are not in your life right now . Life takes weird turns and you don't know when is the last time you will see someone.

Cherish friendship , love , family ,youth, you never know how life will turn. Give value to the everyday things. Experience life! You only get it once!

Nostalgia is the most bittersweet feeling 9/10.

When is the right time to move on?
Sing Yesterday for me is propably one of the most relatable series for anyone who struggles with moving forward or feels stuck with his life. Whether you lost someone you loved, or you face unrequited feelings towards a special one the struggle is there. It weighs you down leaving you with the feeling that you are not quite living your life, but more like that you are putting certain things on hold.

It deals with many difficult topics. When is the right time to move on from something? How long you must fight for someone even though they don't feel the same way about you? Are you shuting new people off by staying stuck in the memories of the past? Is timing crucial to certain emotions?

Give the series a chance if you feel you relate with any of these situations.

It won't let you down i promise!

"Sing Yesterday for me" 9/10.

Losing your way on a journey is unfortunate, but losing your reason for the journey is fate more cruel!
If you ever been alone in your journey through life , felt that you had no-one to share your griefs or someone to turn to, then you will propably relate to this series. Losing someone close to you leaves a mark and you carry that burden along. You might lose hope in people and even lose your reason to fight . But i promise you someday you will find people worth fighting for.

The anime is awesome in every level. Animation, visuals , soundtrack . You are in for a treat! An emotional ride in a mysterious world that will certainly amaze you.

Change can be scary
Change can be something very scary sometimes. It can shake you to your very core and leave you wandering. Everyone worries about their future, especially when they don't know how to move on in life or they feel a bit lost.

This anime manages to capture all those feelings while also introducing us to a teen romance which grows to life since childhood. Teenage love can be akward sometimes as you learn how to express your feelings in words and interactions.

Life goes by pretty fast and the meaning of it is captured into the fragility of our existence! Live with no regrets!

The gift of life
A film who showed me how precious and fragile human life is. Others see it as a long trip, others as something short which must be lived at its fullest. It reminded me of old fairytales. Tornatore always manages to express beauty ,as we live it in our everyday lives. As if the fragility of our existence ,breathes a whole new meaning in every step of the way. Life is immense.

A ship. A piano and a man . Strong friendship and feelings. The magic of the past combined with the sad feeling of letting go.

Life lessons i grew up with!
What can i say about this anime? It taught me all kinds of things growing up. I basically grew up with this crew. I think the most important thing that this journey showed me is ,that there is no shame in needing others. Loyal ,trustworthy friends are worth fighting for when you discovering yourself in this world.

Never give up on your dreams! Find friends you love and share your passion for their goals as well. Just remember: Life and all it's emotions are better when they are shared!

Childhood is a feeling!
I used to say that childhood is a period of our lives that cannot be replaced. Well this film brought back all the heartwarming memories of what all of us whished our childhood had been like. I loved it not only for it's artistic virtues , animation and images , but for this pure magic that managed to take me back to simpler and happier times.

You know not all films are meant to be described, somes are just meant to be feeled!
