The Bear
(2022)

WAS a great show
This first season was phenomenal. The story evolved gradually, characters were introduced here and there. The best part was that you could actually see yourself eating there and mingling with the people who worked there. The ending of the first season was just spot on and well done. No spoilers here! Hahaha. I have always like Jeremy White, but Ebon Bacharach really stood out at as his cousin. A really lovable oaf loser. Always messes up, but has a heart of gold.

The season wrapped up and we were left cheering the staff.

That was Season 1.

Oh, if only they had stopped at season 1. Season 2 seems to be the Ayo Edebiri Show. It is so annoying see and hard to watch. Everything focuses on her. From a 10 min montage of her cooking. Then a 20 min montage of her walking around, eating at places and smiling at the camera weirdly. Absolutely unwatchable. We know why this change was implemented. Another show ruined by a no talent, unfunny, so called comedian.

Not Okay
(2022)

Once more....
One of the characters rolls his eyes and says "Ugh, White Women". The constant bashing of white people continues. Why? Because it's ok. Even encouraged. In this movie, the white bashing is disgusting and makes this unwatchable.

Elvis
(2022)

Oscar Worthy
I normally am not a fan of Baz Luhrman. I am a huge Elvis fan. I was ready to hate it based on my distaste for his other works. But I was enraptured. This movie is going to sweep the Oscars. I was crying at the end, you can tell Baz Luhrman loves Elvis. Thank you, Baz. This was a joy to experience.

Life After Death with Tyler Henry
(2022)

Emotional Grief Vampire
He is of course, a fraud. No one talks to the dead. He uses cold reading techniques, a well known parlor truck. He claims that he had no idea who britney spears is even though he's gay. Everything he says to a celebrity, is easily found on a Google search which he says he does not do. I find him to be a liar and Charlatan. I can't believe you all fall for this.

Restaurant Divided
(2013)

Wretched
Rocco is trying to help others when he couldn't even save his own trainwreck of a restaurant. How long has it been since we've seen Rocco's real face any how? I digress. A bully in the kitchen and a burden in public, Rocco is a culinary tale of what NOT to do to your business.

Genera+ion
(2021)

Laughable
This show has Justice Smith as the Hot guy lead who goes around telling guys they are gay or are at least bi and to sleep with him hahaha. Justice as hot? Now that is a fantasy.

Ghost Nation
(2019)

Just awful
So, how do you take a house in Thurmont Maryland and tie it to a Gettysburg PA haunting? They are so far apart but these idiots try to make you believe that Thurmont is just outside of Gettysburg. Just badly scripted and poorly scripted.

Creeped Out: The Many Place
(2019)
Episode 4, Season 2

Minti Gornes Acting Ruined This.
Could have been a good episode. But her awful acting made it unwatchable.

Are You Afraid of the Dark?
(2019)

Just awful.
The acting. The storyline. The worst part was Miya Cech. Unlikable and a horrible actress. Who does she know to get this part? Wasn't on talent. The original is so much better

Sam Jay: 3 in the Morning
(2020)

Professional Victim.
Boring. Droll. Uninspired. Unfunny. Lives to be a victim. If it wasn't for racism she'd have no act. That's all she drones on about. Oh in case you didn't get that she's a lesbian. You will remind you 1000 times in the course of an hour.

Rose Matafeo: Horndog
(2020)

Just what you think.
Wow. Have all female comedy specials become the same? She gets up on stage, prances around, pose in what they think are "Im adorable and so cool" faces but not. They tell very few jokes with punchlines. Mainly just 3 minute whine sessions. I didn't laugh once. Very sad.

Hannah Gadsby: Douglas
(2020)

Stunningly bad
Remember when you were younger and use to have to go to church. And you struggled to stay awake while the preacher went on and on about demons and Satan and his evil ways. Well watching Hannah Gadsby up on stage is the same thing. Only her Devil and Demons are White people and Men. Particularly White Men. Her distaste and hatred oozes during this so call comedy special. What it really is a Church for The Snowflake and Woke. Hannah will tell you when you are supposed to laugh because at no point during this, do you want to laugh. Skip this . Not worth your time, unless you worship at the altar of Hannah and trust me, no one does.

Scream, Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street
(2019)

Gay Bitterness??
I watched this movie at first as a Gay man and how I would feel if it happened to me. But when the director told Mark. "Why don't you get over it? It's been 35 years for God's sake". I was thought how true it is. He does need to get over it. But how much of this is Mark is trying to profit now? He spends much time selling t-shirts and autographs at shows. He comes across as quite pathetic as a person that people need to walk on eggshells around poor Mark, the long suffering victim. Move on with your life. For someone who hates Freddy 2, he sure spends a lot of time at showings and making money at horror con shows and doing appearances.

Ma
(2019)

Good and scary
Sometimes it's not a ghost or vampire that scares you. But a normal person who is psychologically damaged beyond repair. Like, Ma. We all knew an adult growing up who wanted to be cool and we all ignored them. This is a juxtaposition of what if we didn't. Scared me and Octavia Spencer did a great job. Looking forward to more of her acting range.

Hollywood
(2020)

What a farce
In this alternate reality/history, Rock Hudson takes his black male lover to the Oscars. That sums up this series. I feel like the writer took a nap and when he woke up he wrote down his wet dream, then convinced netflix to pay for it. I feel like young gay people will watch this and not know about the struggle most of us older Queens had to endure to make the world easy for them now. Ryan Murphy should stick to lame FX shows like AHS. This is out of his depth.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs
(2018)

Nice...
I really enjoyed this. Cinema is supposed to be a break from reality. To transport you to another time and place. To forget your ills for 2 hours. You know that first feeling of awe when you put on 3D glasses and say "Whoa"? That's what this whole movie feels like. Wonderment. Told in 6 vignettes, it can be confusing to tell when one ends and another started. But it was all entertaining in the end.

The Goldbergs
(2013)

Would be a 10 if not for....
Two things drag this show down. First, to the Producers, PLEASE....stop trying to make Hayley Orrentia "Happen". She is mediocre at singing at best. But very grating when you make an episode around her singing. It's awful. She's not gonna Happen. Sorry. Second, teach Troy Gentile how to act. If you want to act like Troy Gentile....Just tilt your head back while sticking your neck out, make your eyes wide and scream your lines. The rest of the cast is perfection.

1000-lb Sisters
(2020)

Horrid
This is a show about the most obnoxious hateable sisters. I mean, they have no redeeming qualities. Their weight is the least of their issues. They don't want anything to do with healthy eating or exercise. They just want attention, pity and for everyone to do their work. The first episode the two of them ate enough for a army platoon by themselves. They sit and eat a bowl of spray redi whip then sit and belch on camera. They want to be lazy and people to fawn over them. What has happened to TLC?. This is garbage.

A-Symmetry
(2019)

Not sure
Not sure what I just watched. Left more questions for every answered one. I think what it was, was just a snippet of a serial killers life. No rhyme nor reason. Just a day in the life of. Just kinda made me more curious about why he was the way he was. Guess we will never know. Is that the true horror?

The Soup
(2020)

Ugh...No
Jade Catta Pretta is just not funny. Not personable and highly irritating with her "You have to love me!" Persona. She thinks she is witty but it falls flat. Please get a new host for this cult classic show! Her constant mugging is just too off putting.

Will & Grace
(1998)

So Sad
I loved the warmth and love the characters had in the original series. The stories were well thought and had heart. This reboot is just about 3 shallow jerks who are obsessed with making jokes about the right. It's sad. Over it. As far as I'm concerned the series ended when the original series did.

Mayans M.C.
(2018)

Wretched
I was a fan of Sons of Anarchy. Liked the Brotherhood. The way they cared for each other. They supported and defended each other. This show has none of that. Just junkies stealing drugs and flooding our great nation with heroin. Nothing honorable about the Mayans.

Don Verdean
(2015)

Awesome
I couldn't figure out why the feel of this movie was so familiar. Yet totally new. I figured out it was done by Jared Hess. Who also did Gentleman Broncos. Then it all made sense. And I loved it. The story left me expecting so many villains and turns but it was pretty straight forward. I laughed my ads off at the subtle humor and awesome performance of Jermaine Clement. So subtle but ingeniously played so well. The ending made me cry. Had a good message. God puts us where we need to be, when we need to be to do the most good. Kudos to Mr. Jess on a job well done.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht
(2020)

Could have been great
But they hired a crew more shallow than the water they dock in. A captain who is lost on so many levels. Surprised he has a boating license. Paget and Clara. Ugh. Have as much likeability as a crap flavored lollipop. Paget thinks he is GOD. Ciara is dumber than the anchor. Together they make each episode more unwatchable. Poor Parker has more intelligence and know how than both combined. But they try to make him look stupid in front of the Captain to keep their positions. If the captain knew how inept these two were, they'd be gone. Ditch Paget and Ciara and the show coukd be ok.

Masters of Horror: The Washingtonians
(2007)
Episode 12, Season 2

Horrible
Just wretched. Julia Tortalanos lack of acting talent ruined this. She was unbearable to watch. Who cast such a cringey performing talentless unlikable person? All she did was mug at the camera and scream. Couldnt even do that convincingly. Could have been better if she was not in it.
