The Covenant
(2023)

Not John Wick, and I mean that in a good way.
I just watched Guy Ritchie's The Covenant and I was blown away by how realistic it was. As someone who has been to Afghanistan as a contractor for the US Army, I can tell you that this movie captures the harsh realities of war and the complex dynamics of the region. This is not John Wick Chapter (whatever), and even though the movie is not based on an actual true story, it feels like it could be. The characters are well-developed, the action is intense, and the plot is gripping. Guy Ritchie has done a brilliant job of creating a thrilling and authentic movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you are looking for a movie that will make you think, feel, and appreciate the sacrifices of those who serve, then you should definitely watch The Covenant. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

Day Shift
(2022)

I extremely enjoyed this movie.
If you just want to take a break for 2 hours, turn of your brain, and be highly entertained, then this movie is a perfect solution. I don't get some of the bad reviews. I mean, I'm the type of guy who sometimes spends more time searching for a movie then the actual movie length is, and I highly enjoyed this one.

PS - You can see Jamie Foxx is getting in the shape of Iron Mike Tyson. Can't wait that movie to come out.

The Suicide Squad
(2021)

If you're looking for entertainment, look no further
This movie has heart, action, and a lot of funny moments.

6 Underground
(2019)

Just Terrible
This movie made no sense. It contains only ridiculous action without any storyline. The Transformers franchise makes more sense than this one.

Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard
(2021)

This movie is a cure for depression
What's wrong with people with all these bad reviews? It's a movie, so try to just enjoy yourself. This movie made me laugh, hard. Ryan Reynolds, Samuel l Jackson were great, but Selma Hayek stoled the show.

Buried
(2010)

What a ride
I've postponed watching this movie for years now. Finally, I ran out of excuses and watched it. So glad I did. It's amazing what they pulled off with this movie. What I thrill ride. It's so messed up that I'm glad it's over.

Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga
(2020)

Not that funny, but it has a lot o hart.
I was looking for something to watch with my mother just to past the time. First of all, this is not my type of a movie, at all. However I ended up really enjoying it.

Triple 9
(2016)

I'm loosing trust in reviews
I don't get it. What's up with all these bad reviews? This is a great movie, full of action, thrill, great acting, star power, and solid directing. I use to care a lot about reviews. They use to, basically, determine what I would watch. Not any more. Give it a honest try.

Wrath of Man
(2021)

It wasn't good as I expected it to be
Great directing, solid music, basic plot, and overall mediocre.

Pain & Gain
(2013)

The score is criminally not accurate
Only thing I don't like about this movie is the fact that these things happened in real life. The story is brutal. However, the movie is great with some great acting and directing. I have to add this, to me The Rock stole the show.

Four Good Days
(2020)

This was great ride.
This movie is great. It has great acting and a storyline. I don't understand people who rate movie like this one poorly. Give it a honest try.

Nobody
(2021)

To much action, I love it.
A little bit over the top, but not bad at all. Loved the RZA moments. Glad I saw him in this flick. If you love action, then enjoy the ride.

Guns Akimbo
(2019)

This was pretty awesome.
What a great performance by Samara Weaving (Nix). In my opinion she made the movie stand out. Besides that little fact, if you shut down your brain and just go for the ride you'll be enjoying this movie as much as I did. Good luck.

Tenet
(2020)

Watch it twice
I couldn't wait to watch this movie, however, after watching it the first time, I was a bit confused about some of its parts, so the movie as a whole didn't clicked with me right. Nevertheless, I was able to get the bigger picture and the action scenes and the effects were done amazingly. So, I actually did enjoy it on my first watch, but still I thought that some parts were missing. That's probably because I didn't expect such a complicated movie and when I realized it, it was kind of too late. And the fact that Tenet hits the ground running from the get-go didn't help.

But, here comes the interesting part.

Something told me to wait some time and give it a second shot. So, I did, and after the second watch the movie made sense and my mind was blown. It's not perfect, but it's still a great movie.

With all that said, I highly recommend watching it a second time.

Your Honor: Part Four
(2020)
Episode 4, Season 1

And the Emmy goes to Michael Stuhlbarg!
Michael Stuhlbarg (Jimmy Baxter) did an outstanding performance. What a contrast to the Fargo character. I'm not talking about the level of quality, I'm talking about the difference in characters and the level of their insanity. In Fargo it's all about anxiety, here he's a full blown psychopath, meaning, in this series, he's V. M. Varga (I hope you watch season 3). Besides that, this episode was amazingly done. It's full of thrill, suspense, action, and "Oh, No" moments.

How to with John Wilson
(2020)

What, what?
Wow, what the hell did I just watched? It's pretty hard to rate the show, but here is a solid 8 from me. I can't believe there are people weird on that scale. It's completely nuts and I don't mind it. The show in itself, besides being wicked and strange, is nothing like you seen before. It's not for everybody, but I get the point. I don't know man. Give it a honest try

How to with John Wilson: How to Cover Your Furniture
(2020)
Episode 4, Season 1

This was insane :)

Miss Sloane
(2016)

Molly's Game brought me here.
Jessica Chastain is incredible. Her acting is out of this world. Movie was directed with precision. Besides Jessica herself, the script is the best part. If you liked Molly's Game, you'll love this as well.

Molly's Game
(2017)

What a pleasant surprise!
The script for this movie was done masterfully. The acting is excellent, especially from the leading role. A perfect combination of smarts, looks, personalty, and loyalty. The directing amazing. I loved it and I think you might as well.

Rick and Morty
(2013)

Better
I've put off watching this for 7 years now and, oh man, was I wrong. It's amazing. I absolutely love it. It's extremely smart, funny, dark, and engaging. What a pleasant surprise.

Embattled
(2020)

Oh hell nah !!!
As a true MMA fan, this is not what I expected. The scenes are very poorly done, unrealistic, and the whole film is a missed opportunity to create something great. I understand what they tried to do but they completely missed it. Those fighting scenes are extremely stupid. If you want to watch a great MMA movie, do yourself a favor by skipping this one and choosing Warrior (2011) with Tom Hardy.

The Gentlemen
(2019)

This is a re-watch material.
I thought that "Snatch" vibe couldn't be recreated, ever. However, Mr. Guy Ritchie did it again & all of the performances were outstanding. This is (almost) in the same class as "Snatch". I'm so glad I didn't care too much about some of the bad reviews. I guess some people are just c-word(s) :)

Conor McGregor: Notorious
(2017)

I really enjoyed this one.
I'm not a huge McGregor fan, but you have to give this man this props. The documentary is well made. If you like fighting sports (especially MMA), success stories (making something out of nothing), fearless dream chasers (believing in your dreams against all odds), then you'll definitely enjoy this one.

Interstellar
(2014)

Masterpiece
Masterpiece of writing, acting and directing. The whole movie is mind-blowing, especially if you're into space, physics, exploration, love guys like Elon Musk, enjoy watching space documentaries, and root for Nasa and companies like SpaceX.

Black Mirror: Hang the DJ
(2017)
Episode 4, Season 4

I did NOT expect this <3
What a masterpiece. I just started watchin Black Mirror for the twisted, dark, intense plots, shots, and screenplays. So, that's what I did. I watched a few dark episodes that I hand picked searching the web. But this; now this was something different. I don't know if I watched a single romance movie in my life, but watching only this episode filled what 'gap'. The way the presented love was amazing. Everything, the directing, the acting, and specially the female character. I think a fall in love with her just by watching their interactions. What a pleasant ride. Thank you, BM team for making it possible.
