I don't know how I missed this movie back in 2018-but I'm glad I finally got around to watching it (better late than never, right?). Bohemian Rhapsody tells a fabulous story about a band that is clearly one of the best in music history. And let's be real-if you don't start stomping and clapping the moment We Will Rock You starts, are you even alive?
From the very beginning, the film pulls you in with the electric energy of Queen's rise to fame and Freddie Mercury's magnetic presence. Rami Malek doesn't just play Freddie-he becomes him. The voice, the moves, the larger-than-life charisma-it's uncanny. Give that man all the awards (and maybe a crown too, just for flair).
And here's a fun fact: while Rami did some of the singing, most of the vocals are actually a brilliant blend of Freddie Mercury's real voice, Rami's, and an incredible singer named Marc Martel-who sounds so much like Freddie, it's almost spooky. The sound team worked some serious magic to make the performances feel authentic, and they nailed it.
The storytelling balances the glitz and glamour of rock stardom with the struggles, heartbreak, and inner turmoil that came with it. It's not just a movie about music; it's about identity, family (chosen and otherwise), and chasing greatness unapologetically. Plus, the soundtrack? Come on. It's Queen. Every scene has you either tapping your foot or belting out lyrics like you're on stage at Live Aid yourself.
And speaking of Live Aid-that performance at the end? Absolute goosebumps. It's like the movie builds up just to give you this grand, emotional, fist-pumping finale that makes you want to rewatch it immediately.
Bottom line: Bohemian Rhapsody is more than just a biopic-it's a celebration. A celebration of talent, individuality, and the timeless power of music. If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor. And if you have? Watch it again. Freddie would want you to.

It was an enjoyable show, though the pacing lagged somewhat in the middle. However, the final episodes were engaging and held my attention much more. The series featured a well-regarded cast, good performances, and a storyline that felt plausible and important. As with most films and shows, there were moments that required some suspension of disbelief, so it wasn't flawless-but then again, what is these days? Ultimately, it delivered on its primary purpose: entertainment.
Rather than relying solely on others' opinions, I encourage you to watch it yourself. With only six episodes, it's a worthwhile experience, and you may find your own perspective on it.
