Benson
(1979)

Favorite episode
Excellent series. Without a doubt, my favorite episode was when Robert Guillaume sang "O Holy Night" during one of the Christmas-time episodes. This was one of the best of this series, of which there were many fine episodes. Actually, the series finale was just weird in that we never found out who actually won the election. Perhaps though it is just as well. Another excellent episode was when Benson saved Krause's life by using the Heimlich Manuver. Years later a young child (maybe pre-teen, I forget) saved the life of a friend using this technique because this child saw this particular Benson episode. Amazing show by some very talented actors.

Topper
(1953)

loved this show
I fondly recall watching this show on our first Raytheon TV. I also recall laughing at the crazy antics of George and Marion. The special effects were what I remember, quite good for that early time. Would love to see an episode once again and hear that catchy theme music. Neil, the St Bernard was a classic, drinking gin and I recall Cosmo's always battling with his boss, the stuffy Mr Schuyler (spelling may be wrong). I was hoping that the last show would result in the ghosts becoming visible to Mrs. Topper also. Oh well, I guess that was the five year old that i was at that time always believing that everything would always have a happy ending.
