Atiye
(2019)

It's fantastic!
Some others want to get into the nitty gritty details and trash this - but don't believe them. This is an absolutely fantastic show. It is worth anyone's time to watch. The writing, the direction, and the acting are all superb!

Whatever kind of films you like, this one has it all - drama, romance, action, mystery, etc.

Believe me, it is more than worth your while; it will keep you glued to the screen for the entirety - you can't look away. And it will tickle your mind for months and months to come. I watched it the first time about a year ago, and it has never left my mind. The lead actress plays the role perfectly, there is no way anyone could do it better.

GO WATCH IT NOW!

Top Notch! First Rate!
I don't know what some of these other reviewers saw, but I saw great writing (and I'm a writer), great direction, and some great acting. You can't ask for better than this, unless you're just someone who feels better about themselves when they put others down.

Don't waste your time
Aside from the lousy acting, the blunders of the cops and FBI, and the goofs and things that don't make sense - going after a terrorist in the woods in coat & tie - this rot is full of anarchist/communist propaganda that makes me want to puke.

Why did anyone waste time or money on this piece of trash?

Sci Fi at its best
If you are a true sci fi fan, you will love this show! It has all of the elements necessary for fans of all of the major authors to really get into it.

The fact that Brit Marling also created and writes this show makes it all the more enjoyable.

It made me feel like I lived back then!
Being a native of South Carolina, I just truly "lived" in this movie. The actors 'became' the characters and I could feel what it was like during that turbulent time.

This is not a "slick" film one way or the other. Gwendolyn Edwards makes you want to bow and offer her your hand for a promenade; Julian Adams makes you realize what true Southern men went through during that time: it was not easy, nor pat, nor automatic. It was a time that was hard on all Southerners.

This film made it natural that you identify with the characters: they were not heroes, supermen, or plastic celebrities. They were real people.

I'll add this to my collection, and that is a rare honor indeed. Movies are so cheap and easily attainable that it's not worth the time and trouble to buy them. But I will definitely buy this one so that I always have it near to hand.

A million thanks to Julian and Weston Adams and to Gwendolyn Edwards. You all made it so real and so natural.

Thank you.
