What show are the rest of the reviews talking about ?!? (Not this one!!!) I was initially concerned about what they would do with the show, if it was just some nonsense cash grab (like some are saying) but they completely missed the point of the show!!!! The show is a great setup of important book lore that will come into play in future seasons of the Witcher that would otherwise be way to confusing to explain in show (was even a bit confusing in the books). They used mostly fun and intentionally flawed characters not bogged down with unnecessary backstory, carried by the charisma of the actors that improves as the show develops. And enough world building to carry a decent plot and the lore (the main point)! Not to mention it is a great dose of Witcher universe while waiting for the next season to arrive.

Cliché that is actually funny if u can appreciate vulgar humour, mixed with some telenovela level family drama and some genuinely sweet moments all portrayed by a great cast.

Casual fun watch that hold ups pretty well after nearly a decade, as long as it is not taken too seriously

A good laugh, for Dad and me at least, Mom was less humoured, though still happy to get nostalgic over the cast, and in the end we all had an aww or two along the way.
