It was beautifully shot, the sets and wardrobe has excellent detail, the acting is very good but the horses are amazing, so to are their trainers and stunt people, the accolades for the movie belongs to them, without their expertise, the movie would very average.

Its characters and scripts are very well written, love love love the un-ashamed authentic Australian flavor, right down to the dimmys with soy sauce

It takes place in a far far away land, of course Brian hasn't a clue, he will probably have much more fun here than back home, but he is trying to get back. this is a very funny and well written series, nothing serious but brilliant designs, costumes and perfect casting, really looking forward to season 3

I though this was an excellent movie. The locations are visually interesting, and the use of tech, now and future imagined, are used to give a certain feel without overpowering or distracting from the storytelling. The story was well written, had me intrigued and was well paced, very little lag. The acting was excellent. Well done to everyone involved.

I thought it was wrong not to cast Chinese actors but it's a new re-telling of an ancient legend, and isn't that what always happens with old tales, they change with the re-telling. In today's cultural diversity, the mix of different actors from different countries, the accents and the humour is quite good. Don't compare it to the old series, which I loved, it's a new idea and I quite liked it.
