Koode
(2018)

an average one with heaps of lag, cliches and absurdity
Koode is just an average movie that often turns to be dragging and even absurd. It is no Bangalore days or ustad hotel and has very less entertainment quotient. This adaptation of marathi film happy journey has a wafer thin story line that too loaded with a fantasy element that at times goes much overboard even to the extent of questioning the conscience of a viewer. Koode aspires to be a perfect entertainer as well as a class movie but eventually becomes none. The film with an old school narrative style has many unwanted clichéd scenes, contrived feel good sequences and it goes on and on with out much points to decipher. Embarrassingly nazriya goes over the top in most of the scenes.. It is actually the magical camera work that saves the movie from becoming a greater disappointment.

(2018)

off beat in all senses
The movie is a clear cut art house/ off beat/ award movie..those who like such serious, ultra realistic movies with real life scenes and can sit through the dragging of such genre will find this movie fine, but for all others it will be a real test of patience..a funereal all along with no other happenings or surprises.. if you are a fan of such dark realistic art movies go for this.... otherwise it may be definite risk for your valuable money and time..
