Army of the Dead
(2021)

Bringing all the good elements for a movie and Netflixing them
Begs the question whether zack is all about aesthetics and a worthy competitor to Michael Bay. I didn't mind the length of the movie or how the movie ended. It's just how they dumbed it down in some scenes, i don't think those were necessary and could've easily been avoided. It's just eery to appreciate all the good things in the movie after having to watch all those silly bits.

Captain Marvel
(2019)

You can skip this one for sure
There's not much to look for in the character,It's the same superhero movie with a different character. The story was bland and predictable. I had to shrug my tediousness off a few times to focus on the film. Only the soundrack has some goosebump moments which can be availed for free , you don't have to beat your wallet for a monotone journey of a superhero once again .

If you think Engame will not be legible without seeing this movie, You'll be wrong..This movie doesn't offer anything subjective to help the bouying infiniy war series which will conclude with the impending Endgame movie.

Doom Patrol
(2019)

DCU has taken their game to a whole new level
After the huge success of Titans my hopes were high for this show and it has absolutely stood up to my expectations . I'm not going to be political and compare this with certain shows from certain franchise, All i can say is that this deserves a watch over everything that's going on in February 2019.

Bumblebee
(2018)

Fake reviews have shrouded IMDB
The only thing i liked about this movie is its vfx. This is not the badass transformers movie you would watch,This is plain trash.

This franchise has diverged itself very quickly from being an Action/Sci fi genre to a Fantasy/Drama genre.

Bird Box
(2018)

Four stars for this movie......... No no no.... That's too much!
The story makes no sense, the dialogues make no sense, the characters make no sense. This movie is a competition to all the previous debacles from Netflix.

Bad Times at the El Royale
(2018)

You can't find a better way to torture someone.
Don't be mislead by the trailer or the cast, There's simply nothing worth watching in this movie. It deserves nothing more than 2 stars.

The Nun
(2018)

Blame the Director
To be honest,This film had a lot of potential. There was nothing wrong with the story, wrong was the way they executed it. Actors weren't instructed to react accordingly in ceratin scenarios. Ghosts were replicated as white walkers from the Game Of Thrones.. Lame dialogues and characterplay throughout the movie.

Learned from the previously installments that the character development is very important in such movies. Show some background stories, make an immersive ambience and so on. Screenplay was tremendously flawed, the movie was presented as if we're watching a tv movie with tons of rushed sequences.

I feel impetuous that they've managed to ruin an important story like this from the conjuring series.

Hugo
(2011)

A movie about the foundation of movies
Watched this movie when it was released in 2011 and watching this now after 7 long years. Many masterpieces were released in between, yet this holds the susceptibility to compete against all the movies that released till date.

Visually engrossing, Stellar performance and a touching storyline, it's all there to make you sit through this enchanting journey of a revolutionary invention.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
(2018)

I'm done with Netflix!
Netflix has become a campaign to promote toxic feminism and this series is one of the dozens that's been released recently. It's clear that their shows are for a segment of people and they've been pedantic about it.

Each element of the show was top notch except for the writing.Keeping the characteristics of the show pristine could've saved this show.

Can't remember the last time i watched a netflix show and enjoyed it thoroughly,I guess that's my cue to unsubscribe from the channel.

Daredevil
(2015)

Skip season 3 only to remain a fan of this series
Last episode of this season is as gimmicky as the WWE actions. They built great characters like Ray Nadeem,Dex,Fisk, just to destroy them at the end??!!!

I can compare this season to any blatant season of The Iron Fist. The conclusion of the story clearly doesn't do justification to the previous seasons of Daredevil. 1)A pitcher is stronger than the main superhero, 2)All those hustles just make a deal at the end, which could've easily been made by a telephonic conversation.

Dozens of things have gone wrong in this season which are hard to neglect..I think this is the dead-end of this series as well.

Searching
(2018)

Couldn't even take a water break while watching this
Everything about this movie was pitch-perfect. I was absolutely ready for another cringe attempt on the "social-media" genre, wasn't ready what i was offered till the end. I was literally at the edge of my seat. John Cho's performance was extraordinary, Execution of this movie was novel, creative and groundbreaking. 'Aneesh Chaganty', i will remember this name, i have added him on my google alert now.

Jack Ryan
(2018)

This literally ruined the picture of Jack Ryan that i had in my mind
Lame dialogues, Bad actors, senseless sequences which turned this series into a fiasco. First two episodes were good, had a lot of potential. Then they introduced some weak characters which made the episodes painful to watch. Another failed attempt adds to the long-growing streak of the debilitating american series.

Karwaan
(2018)

Probably one of the worst movies Irfan Khan signed up for.
Should movies educate/motivate people? Yes!.. Should they rot people's mind? No!, this movie falls to that category..Validating everything with the 'modern-age' tag is a futile attempt to dupe people. People are assimilating stuff like these nowadays, i give you that, but this is no masterpiece, this is not a movie to be remembered, it will find its way to obscurity pretty soon.

Mandy
(2018)

One of the bests of Nicolas Cage
Visual appeasement at its best! It's the same story that you see in several movies these days but the execution proves to be abstract/surrealistic/strickening in my point of view.

Castle Rock
(2018)

I just updated my rating from 6 stars to 4 stars
Started off well,i was totally excited for the show just to witness the brilliance of stephen king. It was hard at first to catch up with the story and predict the upcoming events, i was impressed by the fact that they managed to keep the plot so obscured till the 5th episode, then came the 6th episode and i was still patient, waiting for them disclose at least something that would encourage us to continue with show. Now after the 8th episode i am absolutely certain that this series is a fiasco, scattered sequences rendered into 10 episodes which lead to multiple plot-holes. Some cringy scenes which i ignored at first are also coming to my attention right now.

The Sinner
(2017)

Second season is more riveting than the first one
Cultic mystery at it's best.. There are several series ongoing right now, but i only aniticipate another episode of The Sinner every week. After each episode i derive with fact that....... it's worth the wait.

Summer of 84
(2018)

Pretentious garbage
Not every movie with the 70/80's vibe is a masterpiece. This movie is another example of that. I tried my utmost to like this movie but the Horrible casting, plagiarized soundtrack and bunch of plot-holes made this movie a mess.

Hereditary
(2018)

imo, A bit overrated
As a fan of this horror genre(cult), i think it wasn't anything out of the box. Toni Collette and Gabriel Byrne was exceptionally good in their characters.

Cultic horror is the new trend now and many movies and series are following this trend. You might find it fascinating if you're new to this but it failed to entice me anyway.

Upgrade
(2018)

Caught me by suprise
Did my best to tag this one as a 'cliched' movie with a monotonous storyline and was ready to bail out by the intermission, but it hooked me till the end. The story might be predictable for some people as it was for me, but it proved to be an entertaining one, with good acting and equally good suspense build-up..

Tau
(2018)

A school project with a producer
There are better sci-fi movies out there. Even some short movies from frugal franchises are better than this. They just wanted a platform to boast their vfx efficiency, that's it..

Ghoul
(2018)

Bunch of renegades in the form of artists
Don't watch it unless you're an anti-nationalist. Don't know why exactly the cast signed up for this or they deliberately wanted this series to be instigating, making it controversial enough.

Now coming to the reviewing part. Acting-wise it was decent.. Theme-wise it was new. Suspense in the first episode was brilliantly developed. Second episods was just meh and by the end of the third episode i found myself as a donkey in front of the screen who had been lured into this decoy of a propaganda which was being conveyed as a series.
