Conjuring the Genie 2
(2022)

Why is there a second one?
The first conjuring the genie movie was awful. The acting was terrible and the genie itself was dollar store bad. It had really no redeeming qualities. So a year later we get conjuring the genie 2. A follow up to a movie that is VD for the eyeballs. This sequel is just as bad if not worse than the original. I watched both of them back to back in one sitting and after it made me take a good hard look at my life choices. What a complete waste of time. The sequel has the same wooden acting and trash special effects as the original. It doesn't offer any likeable characters and the genie is cringeworthy. No good will come of watching this. And if you were unfortunate enough to sit through the first one... Stop there. It gets worse in the sequel. Not even worth a watch to have a laugh... It just sucks.

Stranger Things
(2016)

Gets tired very quick
Started extremely strong. Season one was a joy. But unfortunately from there it goes downhill. By season 4 however what started strong became weak, limp and forced. Honestly... Check out season one. It'll most probably entice you to keep going but make the most of it because it's all down hill after that.

Noah's Shark
(2021)

Pure Ambience
Beautifully shot, great pace and flow, solid acting performances and quality special effects. The locations are amazing. The score is expertly crafted. This all created an atmosphere I have never seen on film before. Unlike the recent stale shark movies that have come out in past years this is a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend for any lover of quality cinema.

Last Man Down
(2021)

Sure, The acting wasn't great....
But as a throwback to the one man army movies of 1980s, it's pretty entertaining. Stisen as the lead is a unit of a man and although his acting is basic at best, his overall presence however is on point. The dialogue is primative. So if your expecting a high end Hollywood action blockbuster. You aren't gonna find it here. B-grade old school action.... Definitely. It's got a Rambo/Commando flavour with Eastern European spices. Strong effort.

If you love the genre and are a 80s action buff then I'd highly recommend this film.

The Monster Squad
(1987)

What a terrific movie
Oddly enough it's not really a kids horror movie nor is it an adult horror movie. And although "Hollywood" may advertise alot of movies with the tagline " Fun For the Whole Family". This actually delivers on all fronts. It's a great homage to the universal monsters. And its got a very sandlot, stand by me/goonies vibe. If your a fan of horror in general or a fan of quality 80s action adventure then this won't disappoint.

Baskin
(2013)

Solid vibe and atmosphere
This is a tidy little short film from Turkey. Atmosphere is great. It's not Big budget but the entire feel of this film is uneasy in a good way. Was turned into a feature film by the same director and it's pretty clear why. Really refreshing. If your a forehead then I'd recommend this and the feature film.

Howling VI: The Freaks
(1991)

When this is the best it doesn't look good for the other sequels
First howling was a gem of a horror movie. The transformation scene was a thing of beauty. This... Not so much. I mean it's by far the best sequel out of the lot but this still by far isn't a good film. Think of it like this. The other sequels are like a kick in the dick... And this is a punch in the throat. But it still isn't much better.
