The Witcher: Blood Origin
(2022)

Why all the misdirected hate?
I really can't see what these bad reviews are seeing that I am not - the casting is interesting especially liking the character that is Meldorf and the actors portraying Eile and Fjall both have done a great job.

There are places where I wonder if I am watching another Rings spin-off and casting Lenny Henry in another mystical adventure I think could have been awarded better

Some of the sets look like they needed additional props - especially in the palace - costumes are spot on and look fantastic in 4K

However - overall I like this series and hope it gets a second deserved series.

Don't be put off by the poor ratings - give it a craik 😉

Far Cry 6
(2021)

Farout! Far cry is beautiful 😍
Everything is designed beautifully - gun play is the best so far and driving now actually works - the side missions are intriguing and some are hilarious.

I've dropped Valhalla to finish this in time for Horizon 5!

Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga
(2020)

Feel good film worth watching
Can't believe I teared up towards the end - great fun look at what is the great Eurovision Song Contest. Good story and not a total trash comedy by Ferrell for once. Have a hanky handy

Flood
(2007)

O dear O dear O dear
I really do not joke when i can honestly submit that this film is not suitable for Sunday night viewing on ITV4.

The underground scenes are just awful when London is supposedly under 30ft of water, Robert Carlyles character is drab. The Police commissioners outfit reminds me of something Kate Moss threw up and Nigel Planer looks very VERY old, in fact, I am worried that he may have had suffered a stroke whilst filming.

The father of Robert Carlyle who was 'right all along' has obviously been necking too many Ketamin and whilst he has a major part in this awkward journey, he deserved to be killed off way WAY before he was caught pretending to be Kate Winslett (Titanic) whilst dangling over the Thames Barrier.

I'm sorry Film lovers but avoid at all costs.
