Kat Foster and Georgia King (HBO’s Vice Principals) have been set to star in First One In, an indie comedy about an unemployed real estate agent named Madi Cooke (Foster) who, after being thrown off a reality TV show in disgrace, joins a diverse group of women to form an unlikely tennis team. They battle Team Elite headed by Bobbi Mason (King)–an overachieving, tightly-wound, tennis-playing real estate shark–in a local tournament, whereby Madi must regain her grit or lose everything. Michael Ian Black, Catherine Curtin and Josh Segarra co-star. The film is helmed by first-time director Gina O’Brien with Paul Jarrett and Nick Huston producing. Jonathan Gray is the executive producer. Foster is repped by Paradigm, Management 360, and Schreck Rose Law. King is also repped by Paradigm as well as Thruline Entertainment.
Jillian Murray and Kristina Reyes will star in Overlook, an indie horse thriller from Stargazer Films. Directed by Danny J. Boyle, the film follows Carrie (Murray), an equestrian who discovers her family’s estate harbors an unfathomable secret. Rounding out the cast are Carolyn McCormick, Lisa Thornhill, Dan Amboyer, Chris Riggi, Michael Rose, Kim DeJesus, Brandon Hirsch and Kate Neilson. Anthony Del Negro, Zach O’Brien and Shane O’Brien are producing the project with co-producers Emily Blevins and Kevin Otte.

The Veronica Mars spinoff, Play It Again, Dick, almost didn't happen. The CW Seed web series reunites the VMars cast and follows Ryan Hansen as he tries to get a spinoff of Veronica Mars following his character Dick Casablancas off the ground at the CW. The eight-episode series, sort of a meta comedy, features all your favorites playing fictionalized versions of themselves and of their Veronica Mars characters. We'll see Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Chris Lowell, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, Daran Norris, Francis Capra, Kyle Gallner, Christopher B. Duncan, Ryan Devlin (as Duncan Kane), Ken Marino, Amanda Noret and Lisa Thornhill. Rob Thomas even drafted his iZombie stars Robert Buckley and Rose McIver for Play It...

The "Veronica Mars" cast is reuniting for Rob Thomas's previously-announced meta-spinoff "Play It Again, Dick." With filming on the eight-episode web series now complete, Buzzfeed has revealed that all your favorite stars from the cult-favorite Upn detective show are set to reprise their "Veronica Mars" roles in the spinoff alongside lead star Ryan Hansen, who will play both a fictionalized version of himself and his "Veronica Mars" character Dick Casablancas. "Play It Again, Dick's" meta conceit will see Hansen attempting to capitalize on his "Veronica Mars" fame (and current Kickstarter-funded revival) by creating a spinoff series entitled "Play It Again, Dick," in which Kristen Bell (playing a "skewed" version of herself) has begrudgingly agreed to reprise her role as Veronica. Also on board for the series are a host of "Veronica Mars" cast members including: Jason Dohring as Logan Echolls and Jason Dohring Percy Daggs III as Wallace Fennel...
