Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from Thursday’s episode of Ghosts.
Woodstone Mansion was in for quite the surprise on this week’s episode of Ghosts.
The penultimate episode didn’t disappoint, revealing yet another ghost’s powers. It looks like Pete (Richie Moriarty) isn’t stuck on the property after all. Unlike everyone else, he isn’t bound by the ghost border at Woodstone and can travel wherever he pleases. Naturally, his first getaway is a trip to the grocery store with Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), who immediately loses him due to the fact that he can’t actually see any of the ghosts.
Luckily, this wasn’t another Flower (Sheila Carrasco) situation. By the end of the episode, Pete had returned safe and sound. But the newfound confidence he got from leaving the property inspired him to take a trip to see his family. Hopefully he’ll be...

“Ghosts” hit another landmark on Thursday night, as this week’s episode of the hit CBS comedy revealed the truth behind Flower’s disappearance — while also, on a much more profound level, explored the truth behind Hetty’s death in 1895.
In the episode, “Holes are Bad,” when Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) go away for the weekend, the ghosts are left alone — and discover that Flower (Sheila Carrasco) hadn’t been “sucked away” to the afterlife as they thought. Instead, she’s been stuck at the bottom of a well, and had no way of getting out of it.
While they’re gone, Sam and Jay had hired a contractor to fill the well with concrete — which would have left Flower stuck in there for eternity. But with no way to contact Sam and Jay (their efforts to FaceTime the livings fails), the ghosts struggled to find another way to save her.

[This story contains spoilers from the season 3, episode 8 of Ghosts, “Holes Are Bad.”]
The premise of CBS’ hit comedy Ghosts is a notably ridiculous one: After a near-death experience, Sam (Rose McIver) can communicate with the spirits who haunt the country home she inherited from her great aunt — a group of specters from all walks of life and historical eras who died on the property at some point in time. One of those ghosts includes Hetty Woodstone (Rebecca Wisocky), the great-great-great-great-aunt to Sam, who maintains a stuffy, Gilded Age-era attitude that prides wealth and power and shows a disdain for modern times.
In the eighth episode of Ghosts‘ third season, however, we learn a surprising fact about Hetty that brings more depth to a character who has slowly revealed herself to be more than just an uptight robber baroness from a far-off generation. Unhappily married to a devious man of means, she is pinned into a corner when her...

CBS is looking to scare up more laughs after handing an early Season 4 renewal to supernatural comedy Ghosts.
It is the latest renewal order for the Paramount-owned network, which also handed a third season to Fire Country and gave Justin Hartley series Tracker a second season earlier this month.
Ghosts, which is based on the BBC’s British comedy, has been a success for CBS since launching in 2021. Its third season is averaging over 10M viewers in live 7-day multiplatform viewing, which is marginally up from last year and streaming numbers are up on Paramount+, where the company said it ranked as its number one comedy in February.

The move gives some continuity to CBS’ comedy slate for next season as two of its longer running series, Young Sheldon and Bob Hearts Abishola are coming to an end.

Fans of CBS’s Ghosts won’t have to wait much longer to learn the fate of their favorite Woodstone Mansion spirits. The season 3 premiere of Ghosts is set to air on Feb. 15. The show’s writers don’t plan on holding off on revealing which spirit was “sucked off” in the season 2 finale for too long. While the premiere is still a few weeks away, the released logline suggests that a main house ghost is unlikely to be the spirit to leave.

Exclusive: It pays to be alive — or dead — on CBS’ Ghosts. Following a very successful second season, the cast of the paranormal comedy have renegotiated their contracts, landing big salary increases while adding an optional year to their existing deals, Deadline has learned.
Produced by CBS Studios in association with Lionsgate Television and BBC Studios, Ghosts, an adaptation of the British format, stars Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar as Samantha and Jay, a young couple living alongside ghosts in a country house they’d inherited.
According to sources, McIver and Ambudkar have seen their paychecks double to $250,000 an episode.
The actors playing the ghosts, Brandon Scott Jones (Isaac), Richie Moriarty (Pete), Danielle Pinnock (Alberta), Asher Grodman (Trevor), Román Zaragoza (Sasappis), Sheila Carrasco (Flower), Rebecca Wisocky (Hetty) and Devan Chandler Long (Thorfinn) — whose salaries varied in the $35,000 – $55,000 per episode range — will each make $100,000 an episode next season, I hear.

After being forced to push the Season 3 premiere date for its hit comedy Ghosts to February 15, 2024 amidst this summer’s dual strikes, CBS is readying for its return to production, star Danielle Pinnock has revealed.
“We start shooting on Saturday. I fly down to Montreal. We’re going back, baby!” exclaimed Pinnock tonight, in conversation with Deadline at the red carpet premiere for her new Amazon MGM holiday film, Candy Cane Lane. “We did a table read — those scripts are good!”
Pinnock expects the show to shoot “only 10 episodes this season,” rather than the 18+ that have been put out in its first two go-rounds, because of both strike-forced delays and the fact that her co-star Sheila Carrasco is expecting her first child. Still, she teased, “those episodes are fierce and the audiences should prepare themselves.”

Brandon Scott Jones may not be a popular Hollywood A-lister, but he has done reasonably well as a character actor. Although he’s yet to land a lead role in film or television, Jones has garnered credits in a few popular films and TV shows. Born and raised in Bel Air, Maryland, Jones played competitive tennis in High School. After graduating, he studied Acting at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. The two-time Critics Choice Awards nominee has appeared in more TV shows than films. However, his contribution to the big and small screens has not gone unnoticed. Here are...

Spoiler Alert: This story contains spoilers for the series finale of “The Other Two,” titled “Brooke & Cary & Curtis & Lance,” now streaming on Max.
Farewell, “The Other Two.”
The day before it aired its Season 3 finale, co-creators Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider announced there will not be a fourth season of the beloved comedy series, adding that they “always knew” this was “where we wanted to end” the stories of Brooke and Cary Dubek.
In the series finale, the siblings, after nine episodes of selfishness and depravity, finally show up for the ones they love. On a desperate mission to win an Academy Award for playing gay Albert Einstein, Drew Tarver’s Cary chooses to take a break from acting — despite the movie landing Harry Styles as a love interest — in order to heal himself and repair his friendship with Curtis (Brandon Scott Jones). Meanwhile, as her famous family members’ talent manager,...

Note: This episode contains spoilers for “The Other Two” Season 3, Episode 10.
Romance and redemption abounded in the series finale of “The Other Two.” Though the third season of the Max comedy series saw Brooke (Heléne Yorke) and Cary Dubek (Drew Tarver) take a morally questionable turn at times, both siblings took the chance to make things right in the show’s concluding chapter.
For Brooke, that meant making a big sacrifice for her family and reuniting with her fiancé Lance (Josh Segarra). As Brooke and the family attended the Peabody Awards, where Brooke was set to win an award for her telethon for mental health awareness headlined by her brother ChaseDreams (Case Walker), a scandal erupted when Chase was caught trying to boost his album sales through the project. Controversy also swirled around Pat (Molly Shannon), after she mistakenly posted a series of tweets maligning her Ohio friends — and essentially...

The Other Two is ending at Max after three seasons. The Thursday, June 29 finale will be the last episode of the series. The cult favorite show stars Drew Tarver as Cary Dubek and Heléne Yorke as Brooke Dubek, the two elder siblings of teen brother, ChaseDreams (Case Walker), who became a pop music sensation overnight. Molly Shannon plays their mother, Pat. Both struggling artists, “the other two” Dubek siblings, struggle for their own fame in the comedy, which is a satire of Hollywood and the music industry. Ken Marino (Streeter), Josh Segarra (Lance), and Brandon Scott Jones (Curtis) also star. The Thursday, June 29 finale will be a clear end to the series. “It is bittersweet to say goodbye to the Dubek family after three seasons, but we always knew, both creatively and personally, that this was where we wanted to end their stories,” showrunners Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider said...

“The Other Two” is coming to a close after three seasons amid reports of a toxic workplace.
The beloved and critically acclaimed series will conclude with its current third season, making the June 29 episode the series finale. “The Other Two” was created by former “SNL” writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, who shared a press statement clarifying the decision to end after Season 3 was not due to being canceled.
However, The Hollywood Reporter credited sources saying there were “multiple staff complaints” about showrunners Kelly and Schneider over the course of the production. Per the THR report, the Hr complaints stemmed from behavior on set and in the writers’ room, including allegations that Kelly “verbally abused writers and overworked crew and claims that Schneider enabled his behavior.”
A source tells IndieWire that the report was unfounded and not connected to the series ending. Max representatives did not provide comment to THR.
