If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if one of the “Rick and Morty” characters placed a call to Joel Osteen’s prayer line, wonder no longer. Justin Roiland, co-creator of the Adult Swim animated series, made an appearance on the H3 podcast this week to raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey. During the podcast episode, Roiland called the televangelist’s hotline, using the voice of Rick, the soused time-traveler character from “Rick and Morty.” This follows Osteen’s Houston-based Lakewood Church getting hit with criticism last week for not initially opening its doors to those displaced by the storms.
