Himyf S2 Just Set Up A Derek Jeter Cameo (& Continues Himym’s Yankees Gag)
How I Met Your Father season 2, episode 4 continued How I Met Your Mother’s Yankees gag by setting up a potential cameo for the retired Yankee Derek Jeter. A future Jeter appearance would be the second cameo from a Yankees player in the Himym universe. Early in his career, Jeter appeared as himself on an episode of Seinfeld, and later in action films such as 2010’s The Other Guys. If Jeter were to cameo on How I Met Your Father, it would be a great way for him to return to acting and keep the Himym gag alive.
