Star Wars: Mark Hamill Supports Recasting Luke Skywalker for Future Series

Mark Hamill shared that he supports casting a younger actor for the role of Luke Skywalker for future Star Wars projects.

In a recent interview with Esquire, Hamill explained that, after The Last Jedi, he did not expect to make any more appearances as the blue-eyed farm-boy-turned-hero. However, he was convinced when he watched The Mandalorian, noting that he "was very impressed with it." Hamill has appeared, to great audience appreciation, as his younger self in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett thanks to de-aging technology, AI voice simulation, and look-alike actor Graham Hamilton.
