Marvel Makes a Major Change to Iron Man's Place in the MCU Timeline

Marvel Studios has seemingly retconned when Tony Stark became Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to sample pages from Marvel Studios The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline, the events of Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk have been pushed farther apart and are no longer set just six months from one another. The upcoming Marvel Studios-approved encyclopedia, which promises to "answer the biggest questions: what happened, when, where, and why," has Iron Man set in Spring 2008 with The Incredible Hulk taking place two years later in 2010.
