Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim Star Reveals Her Hayao Miyazaki Heroine Inspiration

At New York Comic Con 2024, Warner Bros. Pictures held a special panel for its highly anticipated anime film, Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim. During the event, Gaia Wise, the English voice actor for main protagonist Hera Hammerhand, revealed additional details about the film's main heroine.
Per Anime News Network, War of the Rohirrim director Kenji Kamiyama stood alongside cast members Brian Cox (Helm Hammerhand), Gaia Wise (Hera Hammerhand) and Luke Pasqualino (Wulf) to present brand-new tapestry artwork created for the upcoming film (seen below). The panel was moderated by late-night comedy host and "Lord of the Rings superfan" Stephen Colbert, who fielded questions from the cast.
