Family Guy Returns to Adult Swim After 3-Year Absence

Family Guy is set to return to Adult Swim's late night programming block in 2025. The network will air a special marathon to celebrate the occasion.
Variety reports that a three-day-long marathon of Family Guy episodes will kick off on Adult Swim starting on Jan. 1. Back-to-back episodes of the long-running Seth MacFarlane comedy series will air from 7 p.m. Et/Pt until 5 a.m. Afterward, episodes will continue to air "every weeknight from 10:00 - 11:30 p.m. Et/Pt thereafter." Family Guy stopped airing on Adult Swim in 2021 after its license expired with the network. Reruns of the show then moved over to Fxx, which had an exclusive agreement to air reruns of the show after they aired on the original network, Fox. Now, the show has a non-exclusive agreement with Adult Swim, with reruns allowed to air elsewhere.
