The Family Chantel: Pedro Jimeno Is More Relevant Than Chantel Everett (Could His Damaged Reputation Save The Show?)
Pedro Jimeno played second fiddle to Chantel Everett in The Family Chantel, but he's more relevant than her after the show. Chantel and Pedro first met in the Dominican Republic, Pedro's home country, when Chantel was on vacation. They immediately hit it off, eventually deciding to begin the K-1 visa process in Atlanta, Georgia. From the start, the Everett and Jimeno families' relationships were contentious, each siding with their respective children in disputes. While The Family Chantel season 5 detailed their divorce, Pedro and Chantel's stories still aren't over.
Pedro got the villain edit on The Family Chantel. He consistently sided with his family, Lidia Morel and Nicole Jimeno, over Chantel. Pedro also used Chantel for a green card, casting her aside as soon as he didn't need her anymore. He never even tried to fix their marriage, prioritizing his work and career over potential infidelity rumors, which he vehemently denied.
