I found it pretty strange when Judge Meadows’ demeanor changed completely the moment she heard that Juliette Nichols had survived the cleaning. Meadows started to behave as if some old fairy tale had come true and she didn’t want to hold back her wild dreams anymore. A woman who had always been very direct with her words started speaking in riddles and quoting from fantasy books like The Wizard of Oz. It turned out Meadows wanted to go out and therefore demanded a working suit from her ex-lover and It head, Bernard Holland. Until the very end, Meadows didn’t reveal why she made such an odd request. However, before taking her last breath, she did imply that her impossible desires might have had something to do with Salvador Quinn’s hard disk and the scan of a coded letter that he wrote to his wife 140 years ago.
