The Mummy and The Mummy Returns are beloved films from the late '90s and early '00s. The adventures of Rick O'Connell and his Egyptologist wife, Evy, delight and entertain fans decades later. The third installment, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, isn't quite as well-regarded.
The third film in The Mummy franchise suffered for a couple of reasons, but one that fans are quick to point out is that Rachel Weisz, who played Evy, didn't return to reprise her role.
