'Completed My Violent Arc': Karan Soni Shares His Only Deadpool Franchise Request
Deadpool's love of violence has rubbed off on people around him, too. One of them is his lovable sidekick Dopinder, who appeared in the first two Deadpool movies.
Karan Soni played Dopinder in the 2016 film and its 2018 sequel, Deadpool 2. He was a taxi driver that Deadpool usually called when he needed transportation. Although he was not a big part of the critically and commercially successful Deadpool & Wolverine, Soni had a great time with the franchise and even got his request granted, as he revealed in an exclusive interview with Cbr's Grae Drake.
Dopinder doesn't have any superhero powers and was a regular person before befriending the mercenary. However, following Deadpool's destructive advice, he ends up committing several crimes. When asked whether he had any notes on Dopinder, Soni explained he had one major request for his character.
"I mean, I don't even get the script. But I did once.
