This masterpiece of German slapstick was the first of a total of three "Tanten"-movies, remakes of the popular sixties series. However it's not Dutch comic Rudi Carell who makes this film memorable but good old character player Hubert von Meyerinck (in his last role). Especially the scene in which he tries to bring a serenade to his beloved and being dubbed by an imitation artist as he sings the Roy Black hit "Das Mädchen Carina" is superb!
