• Warning: Spoilers
I would agree that it should be viewed simply as an action movie. I bought the special 4 disc set, and in the scene where the female Korean terrorist is fighting underwater, she abruptly kisses him just before being dragged through the screws of the ship. It made for an extremely strange scene since she had spent the rest of the film trying to kill him, however in the deleted scenes, there were scenes with them being filmed in a raft together. Somehow this ended up on the cutting room floor, leaving a somewhat disjointed storyline. See it, enjoy it as an action film, but don't expect much more- That being said, I will see it again one day, and I did enjoy it.
