Observe and Report present to us, as its main character, Seth Rogen playing a security guard of a mall. You may expect a goofy sort of character and at first sight Rogen's character, Ronnie, is just like a joke of a cop. Well, after all Ronnie ain't really a cop and that fact is basically what Observe and Report is all about: the main point deals with the main character not being accepted to become officially a cop (to become a cop is his biggest dream, or as big as to sleep with the hot played by Anna Farris) but nevertheless being in the end what a real cop is all about and proving that sometimes those with a badge, like Ray Liotta's character Detective , ain't what the society really needs. Observe and Report is simply about that but in its short runtime of 86 minutes there's some more stuff, plenty of typical stuff like a the whole love story of our main character with the hot girl (already mentioned) that don't give a crap about him and the very beautiful girl that since always is interested in him but only in the end he will be in her. Also the stuff with Ronnie's mother (who is an alcoholic and played by ) is really predictable, I mean there are some scenes when you see the joke coming since miles ago (like when Ronnie is like "mom, am I the reason why dad left?") but you know, is still fun... as a whole Observe and Report works.
