Much as I have liked this show, and had its memories taken me back to when I first watched over 60 years ago, it's time to do what numerous PBS stations have done and shelve it.
OETV really hasn't helped: 26 years of shows, and they have shown the same ones in the same order for years. Add to that the wraparounds are so old, they announce the deaths of artists from 2003, and continue to feature interviews of those who have since died up to Dale, Zimmer, Imel, Rockwell, and others.
My PBS station habitually preempts it for other shows, which pretty much shows what it thinks. LW has been dead for 25 years, most of his cast, original viewers, and the studio audiences are also gone. Time to hang up the baton.
