Mixed feelings here as the film is, possibly by necessity, one sided and biased through much of its length. You also get the sense that there is at least some revisionist leanings here especially from Hook. Once again for me both Bernard and Hook come out badly. Essentially it is well shot and us interesting for fans or students of Manchester but you still can't escape the feeling that Joy Division weren't as big as the film makes them out.
