• I've seen most of Kevin Hart's stuff (the movies and stand up comedy), and he's just barely a "5 out of 10" for me. He's got some funny stuff, some good jokes, and stories, but the man-child himself is incredibly strung out and annoying. Mind you, this was my opinion before I watched his brand new self-mockumentary. I'm right and truly blown away by this stupidity.

Two episodes in, I still had no idea what I was watching. Episode one starts off as if he's done some wrong and intends to apologize for it later on, but it just keeps dragging on, and by the end of episode two, I honestly didn't understand what it was all about. After reading through the comments here, I've gathered that he's in trouble for his homophobic rant from back when, and he's also cheated on his pregnant wife, and he's not really apologizing after all? I don't even care to find out.

As others have pointed out, it's a completely pointless self promotion under the guise of a documentary series. Having watched only two episodes, I'm already fed up listening to Kevin blowing his own horn about how hard he works. The man is so desperate for acceptance and approval, for attention and adulation, it makes me want to hide my face behind a pillow out of second hand embarrassment! This is shameless crap on a whole new level.

I'm sure the die hard fans love getting this inside, behind the scenes look at his life, but these are the same people who'd buy Kevin's canned farts. This misbegotten attempt at a documentary should be used for educational purposes to teach children about the dangers of "little man syndrome," or the Napoleon Complex, as it's commonly known.
