I think I saw this as the trailer to the Woody Allen film, Bananas. It was a surprisingly interesting and engaging short film. I haven't seen it in decades, since I saw it in 1971. But I still remember the plot and the interesting actors. The young man, the aging "veteran" obth well played. It was a sweet film.
