A lot more serious drama in this episode and i must say , it works very well
for the story .
First blondie is dooped by a salesman that convinces her that baby dumpling is a genius so he can sell het books abouth the subject .
at the same time Dagwood is once again fired by Dithers
baby dumpling is send to school by a proud blondie , but he don't like it very much and in the process daisy is captured by dogcatchers and later sold to a rich man and his daughter who can't walk and is sitting in a wheelchair .
it still stays a comedy but the drama is well written inside the basic story .
and ofcourse the expected happy ending is very satisfying .
