Good plot. Was not a cheap looking movie, well made.
A Green Beret veteran moves to fictitious Georgia mountain town to be near his daughter and ex; becomes sheriff; feels alienated from townsfolk; solves a murder; becomes town hero.
Acting wasn't bad. Actually realistic. Oscar winning? No. Good movie? Yes.
Good starting point for some novice actors. Beautiful location. It does have a happy ending.
