• Warning: Spoilers
The flashbacks and the present day storyline are beginning to become more connected than ever with every passing episode.

In the flashbacks, nothing much happens except finding out how Sara knows Sin, and them getting a parachute.

Sara has joined the team and is in a relationship with Oliver, which makes Felicity feel a little left out. The villain of the week, Clock King, was interesting yet underutilized, but he was used as a way for Felicity to prove something to herself.

Sara is still in a bad place with Laurel, and an attempt to have a family dinner with Oliver goes sideways till Laurel hits rock bottom and starts picking herself up again.

Meanwhile, Thea catches on to the tension between Oliver and Moira and tricks Oliver into going home during the day, but he finds a huge surprise waiting for him, and creates a mind-blowing ending, setting up the next episode to be a tense one.
