Review

  • Warning: Spoilers
All and all, this could have been a good show. However, there were some serious issues that I just couldn't get past. First, the underage relationship others have mentioned. Then the over the top sympathetic portrayal of Dunbar post death. Meanwhile, there no mention again about the homeless girl he shot in the back and killed. Or how he kidnapped and carved up Elisia's arms. Or how Dunbar stalked and tormented his female classmates. But the biggest flaw is the lack of any care for the girl he murdered. Meanwhile, Dunbar is mourned almost obsessively. He was a killer. If the writer wanted sympathy for this character, she shouldn't have made him a murderer who killed a girl then realized it "wasn't fun like killing a bird"... wtf. Lastly, so none of the adults notice ANY of this is going on?

I did appreciate some of the actors. Potentially, there are a group of them here that could do really good work in the future.
