Review

  • Like other reviews have said, 'Everyone else burns' is a slow burn comedy. I wasn't completely sold by the first episode, but liked the premise so kept watching and I'm glad I did. Though the show is primarily a comedy, there are also a number of genuinely moving moments throughout, and I couldn't help but root for many of the characters. I found Rachel and Fiona's storylines particularly interesting, and I am very excited to see where the writers take these two characters in the next series. Some other highlights from the show were Aaron's disturbing yet hilarious world view and the more 'hip' Elder Abijah's interactions with the extremely rigid, no nonsense, Elder Samson.
