I'm not one that writes reviews but this little short got me today. It played a few minutes before 'Moana' (Disney100) and was a surprise and thoroughly enjoyable. It seems that a 100th anniversary group photo is scheduled for Disney characters outside in front of the Roy Disney Animation Building early in the morning before the staff arrives. All the characters come 'alive' from their pictures mounted on the hallway walls. Mickey and Minnie with help from Tinker-bell quickly get everyone moving in what develops into a very hilarious cat-herding episode. Little snippets of interaction between characters is so much fun and really very creative. Everyone eventually gathers in front of the building facade while Goofy try's to be the photographer and, of course, screws it up. It finally gets set up and Goofy presses the timed delay shutter release and the truly amazing picture of this incredible body of work is made.

There is a brief melancholy moment when Mickey pauses before a photo of Walt and his face expresses his love and sadness that Walt couldn't be there for this moment.

This is a wonderful short and I hope you can find it available on the big screen. I want to see it a few more times.
