Nice movie, much less dirty than you might think from the title and with a plot full of twists and adventure. It reminded me of the tales of Conan the Barbarian.

This Italian/Spanish co-production tells the tale of Don Giovanni Tenorio, starting off in his native Sevile and continuing after his banishment to the Arabian Berber countries. And in so doing, brings together both the Spanish and Arabian legends of Don Juan. Over the course of these adventures, Robert Hoffman goes from playing a Zorro like swashbuckler to dressing like Lawrence of Ariaba. And naturally, he beds some of the most beautiful actresses working in European cinema at the time.
We first meet our dashing rogue of a hero as he's bedding one time Miss Moneypenny Barbara Bouchet while her stepdaughter is being wooed (in his name) by Giovanni's stuttering servant Paco. Unfortunately Barbara's husband the Don finds out (not about her, but rather about his daughter Concitta). This means Giovanni and Paco have to make a dashing escape, swinging their sabers all the way. Although some of the Don's unnamed servants seem to drop dead, this all happens without any blood being spilled and with such a happy tune playing in the background that one can hardly take offense at the implied violence.
However, when Giovanni returns to the mansion for sweet young Concitta he ends up hurt himself and has to recuperate in a nunnery, where true to form he tries to seduce his savior and nurse, Magdalena. Unfortuntaly for our hero, she manages to withstand his charms. Even worse, the men of Seville have had enough of his lustfully ways and have him banished to Berber country. Together with Paco, he gathers a group of handy henchmen (a dirty half dozen of sorts) so he can break into the Sultan's palace and take his most precious treasure, the Sultan's daughter Aisha. This is a worthy prize indeed, as she is played by the most gorgeous woman of all time: Edwige Fenech.
Posing as an Arabian Prince, Giovanni impresses Edwige, I mean Aisha, so much she actually unveils her most beautiful face and, after he reveals his true identity, the rest as well. Still, Aisha proves herself less intend to fall for Giovanni's mere words, and wants to join his merry band of followers as a more than equal partner. This almost leads to a grand battle in the desert between several desert factions, Giovanni and Paco end up in jail, but when you're Don Juan, you can always count on another beautiful female to come along and lend a helping hand...
