Is Project Stardust the Same As Project Necromancer?
Project Necromancer is what the entire three seasons of Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been all about.
With Doctor Royce Hemlock set on resurrecting Emperor Palpatine using Omega's M-count, the Clone Force 99 had all right to worry about saving Omega's life.
Not only is she a rare subject, but using her as a test experiment would mean losing her life for the Empire's purpose.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and in the concluding phase of the final season of Bad Batch, the titular team of renegade Clone Troopers find themselves in a similar situation. As seen in the previous episode, the covert Clone operative had managed to learn about the batch’s location in the fishing village of Pabu by stealing Phee Genoa’s travel logs. By bringing reinforcements from Tantiss, the operative ensured he burned down all escape routes the batch might have opted for and continued forcing the residents of the village to give Omega up. At the end, unwilling to let others suffer for her, Omega decided to surrender herself, asking Crosshair to use this opportunity to track her so they could learn the location of Tantiss, which would allow the batch to rescue not only her but all the captive Clones.

Imperial forces finally catch up to the Batch in their pursuit of Omega, and as the final season of Bad Batch nears its end, the stage gets set up for a grand final conflict between the renegade Clone Troopers and the forces of the tyrant Galactic Empire. Previously, an Imperial covert Clone operative managed to track Omega at Captain Rex’s rebel Clone outpost along with the rest of the batch and almost managed to capture her, destroying much of Rex’s forces in the process. The same operative returns in the latest two episodes of the series, once again causing much headache to the Batch through his machinations.
In the previous episode, the legendary Force user/ bounty hunter Asajj Ventress sought out the Bad Batch in Pabu, as it was revealed that she was Fennec Shand’s contact who had inquired about Omega’s M-count information. Ventress’ past as...

The fact that animated adaptations of the majority of fictional lore will always turn out to be superior to any other form of media presentation has been proven to be universal by now, and the tales of a galaxy far, far away are some of the best examples in that regard. Star Wars as a franchise has found some of its best storytelling opportunities when the medium is animation and the focus is not on the force-sensitive rival orders of Jedi or Siths; instead, the grounded, human side of the lore is highlighted. The Galactic Empire’s early days, which spanned between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, have been established as the perfect backdrop for such narrative treatment, as seen since the first Clone Wars series. Which is why it is little wonder that Dave Filoni’s decision to make a series based on...

Johnny Jewel’s latest project is the soundtrack to the Dutch drama film Holly. Before the full Ost is out October 13th via his label Italians Do It Better, he’s shared a preview of it with the lead single “The Witch.” He’s also announced a run of European tour dates, during which he’ll play sets comprising music from his prolific film score discography.
Directed and written by Fien Troch, Holly centers around a 15-year-old girl whose school is largely destroyed by a fire one day after she calls out of class. As her community grieves, they begin to see some unspoken quality in Holly that makes her an unlikely source of support, though perhaps at the sacrifice of her own wellbeing.

Less than a month ago, Diablo 4 launched to fairly widespread critical acclaim and instant commercial success. Though complaints and criticisms about the game have been flying freely since Diablo 4‘s betas, the general consensus was that Diablo 4 got off to a pretty great start and likely had nowhere to go but up from there.
Over the last few weeks, though, the public perception of Diablo 4 has shifted dramatically. Even once-adamant fans of the core experience have begun to openly and enthusiastically criticize the game. Is this a case of familiarity breeding contempt over the course of 100s (if not more) hours of gameplay? In some instances, it almost certainly is. However, when you get down to it, the truth is that more and more people are realizing that Diablo 4 currently suffers from these fundamental issues that have yet to be addressed (and have often been exasperated) by the game’s numerous post-launch updates.

Around the time of Diablo 4‘s release, I called Necromancers the worst class in the game for Endgame content. Well…that’s sadly probably still true. However, Necromancers remain both wildly popular and incredibly fun to play. They’re also perfectly viable in the Endgame if you work your way toward the best Necromancer Endgame builds.
Much as we did with Sorcerers’ Endgame builds, we’re going to be focusing on builds that represent Necromancers’ main styles of play. While some Necromancer builds are ultimately more powerful than others, your personal preferences may inspire you to choose one playstyle over the others. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s called having fun, and it remains valuable even late into the Diablo 4 experience.
Once again, though, please note that you will not find a full Paragon Board breakdown in these builds. Paragon Boards are still being uncovered/fine-tuned, so I...

Max and Iggor Cavalera, who cofounded the Brazilian metal crew Sepultura but have since left the band, have re-recorded Sepultura’s death-metal–influenced first releases, Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions. The brothers, who have previously recorded as Cavalera Conspiracy, are dubbing their new project simply “Cavalera” and have stylized their name to look like Sepultura’s mid-Eighties logo.
They haven’t yet announced release dates for the records, which feature two previously unreleased songs written around the time of the original releases, but they’re embarking on a tour they...

This Star Wars: The Mandalorian article contains spoilers.
The penultimate episode of The Mandalorian season 3, “The Spies,” features the return of Moff Gideon and the introduction of the Shadow Council that governs what’s left of the Empire five years after Return of the Jedi. While the mention of Grand Admiral Thrawn and more hints of Palpatine’s cloning plan may have been some of the larger takeaways from this scene, there’s an important connection to the First Order and the Sequel Trilogy that shows just how dangerous this council is to the future of the New Republic.
We learn one of the members of the Shadow Council is Commandant Brendol Hux. Yes, that’s right, he’s the father of future First Order General Armitage Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) from the Sequel Trilogy. His son will one day become an important part of the First Order’s plan to...

This Star Wars: The Mandalorian article contains spoilers.
The Mandalorian may have unleashed its most Star Wars-y story ever with “The Spies,” an episode that features Mandos vs. Imperial stormtroopers with jetpacks, several references to Legends canon, and yet another tease for Grand Admiral Thrawn. It also features the single best Grogu gag of the entire season with the arrival of Ig-12 and his “yes” and “no” buttons. The episode is everything you could possibly want from a Star Wars adventure and then some. Plus, some very serious stakes are introduced ahead of the finale.
All the way through, we’re also treated to plenty of easter eggs, references, and callbacks to the wider Star Wars galaxy. Here are the ones that caught our attention…
Captain Gilad Pellaeon (Xander Berkeley)
With the Mandoverse reintroducing tons of Legends lore from Timothy Zahn’s Heir to the Empire to the official canon,...

Thursday’s Legacies found the students dreaming of a white Christmas, blissfully unaware of the holly jolly nightmare unfolding in their own backyard — er, chimney.
Hope first suspected that something was amiss when Mystic Falls’ perpetual haze of angst and despair was suddenly replaced by a mist of snow flurries and good cheer. And in the middle of October, no less. She watched in confusion and horror as her fellow classmates — along with Dorian and Dr. Saltzman — sang Christmas carols, downed hot chocolate and exchanged (gasp!) friendly tidings. It was awful, and Hope quickly put an end to the merry...

Whether or not you've played them before, these fan favorites are well worth trying on Nintendo Switch...
Since its initial unveiling, the Nintendo Switch’s hybrid nature has made it a one of a kind prospect for gamers. Nintendo’s own offerings on the system have ranged from fun new titles like Yoshi's Crafted World to enhanced ports like New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, while plenty of other developers and publishers have jumped at the chance to showcase games on this multifaceted new platform.
Because of this, the Switch has become a real haven for ports of classic games. Companies are delving into their back catalogs to put some of their biggest hitters from the past onto the Switch and into players' hands once more. This gives new players a chance to discover classic games, while more experienced gamers can jump back into their old favorites.

Dragons are finally coming to Elder Scrolls Online along with the Elsweyr update.
Elder Scrolls Online's next content release, Elsweyr, will begin with the release of the Wrathstone Dlc game pack. This pack will include two new dungeons that see collect something referred to as the "Wrathstone tablet." This Dlc pack will go live later today. Best of all, it will be available for free to all players, even if they aren't purchasing the game's next expansion. There are instructions on how to access the content over on the game's website.
In case you missed it, Elder Scrolls Online will soon receive a massive influx of new content that might change the game in some drastic ways. Before writing this, I said in jest to our editor that the summation of this review will be, “D3 still good, bye”. How much left is there to say about Diablo 3? Specifically, how much do I have to say about Diablo 3? I have poured hundreds of hours into the game over multiple consoles. I have several, high-level characters and have at least one character for every class. My stash is replete with legendary amulets, weapons, rings, and armor, saved for any future character I decide to create. I can complete greater rifts by myself on high torment levels in a matter of minutes. I have scoured this game and franchise for every secret cow level, item, gem, and appendage belonging to Wirt. It is one of my favorite games of all time; Diablo 2 is probably my favorite game of all time. I love this franchise, so I was curious to...
