The 36-year-old singer took to Twitter on Monday to share a silly snap of herself and one of her sons after getting locked out of her home while taking her dog for a walk. Unlike us, however, Spears was promptly rescued by her security team.

Crisis on Earth X Part 2 finally got us rolling on the real conflict, after Supergirl's episode of setup. It brought us some great fight scenes, campy dialogue, and one excellent sequence of heroes getting ready to punch Nazis. On the downside, using Nazism in this political climate, especially in such a cartoonish way, feels garish and tone-deaf at best, and the dialogue woes don't help.
It was great to see Tommy Merlyn back in the Flarrowverse, but it was unfortunately short-lived. He pulled the old cyanide in the tooth trick, like many superhero and spy movie characters before him. The crossover as a concept,...

Warning : Potential Spoilers Ahead.
Girls take the lead in The Flash this week, as they celebrate their bachelorette party in “Girls Night Out”. What makes this episode stand out is that it comfortably carries the momentum from the excellent “Elongated Journey Into the Night”. The girl’s gang include Iris, Cecile, Caitlin, and Felicity (crossing over) had a rough night which includes a drug generating meta, a crime boss who carry a bucket of bolts, and a snake-eyed henchman.
First things first, the writers of season 4 are in excellent form, as they continue to deliver top-notch quality stuff. One of the masterstrokes played by them is placing Iris in the driver seat throughout the episode. Well supported by Felicity Smoak, and Caitlin’s Frosty mode, she delivers a perfect knockout. Barry’s comical act in the strip club, by getting drunk and yelling about his secret identity is the icing on the cake.

Flash fans across the country are waking up concussed and confused this morning, victims of a plot that attempted to beat viewers over the head before choosing to defy logic completely.
"Girls Night Out" was an amazing chance to see the women of Team Flash (plus Felicity) tackle a case on their own. And for that we loved it. It wasn't without its flaws, however, and some of those stemmed directly from the writers' exuberance.

If more than three seasons of The Flash have taught us anything, it is that Barry Allen tends to screw things up. He doesn't even need an excuse like drunkenness -- saving the world is enough for the Flash to cause trouble. So it's a surprise in "Girls Night Out" that Caitlin Snow may have beaten an intoxicated Barry in being the biggest screw-up.

Your regularly scheduled recapper Carla Day will return next week! Tonight's episode of The Flash is titled "Girls Night Out", so of course I'm the best possible flavor of recapper to handle this particular hour. While I thought that we'd be tagging along with Iris, Cecile, Caitlin, and Felicity (yes, Arrow star Emily Bett Rickards makes a guest appearance), the episode actually split the party along gender lines for two separate stories that had just about nothing to do with each other for once. That's good because The Flash is currently juggling a lot of storylines, …...

With Barry and Iris' wedding approaching, this episode of The Flash sees them celebrating their bachelor and bachelorette parties, each with some scrapes and excitement.
Caitlin's Killer Frost past returns just at the perfect moment to interrupt a low-key dinner in "Girls Night Out" but is also a great catalyst for her and Iris to work through some stuff. Meanwhile, Ralph crashes Cisco's plans for Barry to have a nice night at home and some steak with his friends, and takes the guys to a strip club.

The ladies of Team Flash are hitting the town in Tuesday’s all-new episode of The Flash! But, like most nights in Central City, things don’t quite go as planned.
“We wanted to do something we’ve never done before,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told reporters of the ep last week. “We started with the concept of, wouldn’t it be really funny if Barry goes for a bachelor party with the guys and [Iris] goes for a bachelorette party with the girls, and the guys end up having the worst night ever, and the girls wind up saving the city. That was where the episode started from, and that’s where it ended up.”

The Flash has been trying really hard to be fun in Season 4, and remind us that it's one of the jolliest of the CW's stable of DC properties. And while some of the results have teetered into just plain weirdness, for the most part, The Flash is really succeeding in being a show that is (once again) a joy to watch. And next week's episode, "Girls Night Out" doesn't look to be any exception. We have had a few teasers this season that while Caitlin was on a sabbatical from Star Labs, she might have …...

After a couple years of buildup and an Earth-2 doppelganger teasing us of what could be, we finally saw Caitlin Snow become Killer Frost last season on The Flash, something we’d all been waiting for since the pilot episode aired. But even after switching to Team Savitar for a short while, Caitlin was able to tame the monster within before going about her own way for the summer.
Since rejoining her in season 4, we’ve seen that she’s reemerged as Caitlin. But unbeknownst to her closest friends, she’s been keeping her Killer Frost persona suppressed in a way similar to that of the Incredible Hulk. Obviously, the rules of dramatic television dictate this won’t be kept under wraps for too long, with a recent forecast stating as much.

A slew of photos have been released for The Flash's upcoming November 7th episode, "Girls Night Out", and a few of them offer us out first look at Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff as the villainous Amunet Black a.k.a. Blacksmith, and she looks great! It's like she stepped right out of a David Bowie music video. The episode, which centers on the Bachelor and Bachelorette parties celebrating West and Allen's union, will also include a guest appearance from Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards, whose Felicity will be hitting the town with Iris and Caitlin.
Here's the synopsis that was released for "Girl Night Out":
Katee Sackhoff ("Battlestar Galactica") And Emily Bett Rickards ("Arrow") Guest Star - Having received an ominous threat from her old boss, Amunet (guest star Katee Sackhoff), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) fears that her past time as Killer Frost may be back to haunt her.

In the fifth episode of season 4 of The Flash, titled “Girls Night Out,” Barry Allen and Iris West will celebrate their bachelor and bachelorette parties ahead of the long-awaited wedding during the big four-way Arrowverse crossover coming at the end of November. This being Central City though, where metahumans cause trouble every Tuesday, things don’t go too smoothly.
“Girls Night Out” is set to be a big outing for the show, as it features a couple of exciting guest appearances. First, Emily Bett Rickards will crossover from Arrow as Felicity Smoak drops by to attend Iris’ big night. Meanwhile, former Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff joins the cast in the recurring role of Amunet, a metahuman villain also known as the Blacksmith who has a hold over Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost and looks like she’s going to crash the party.

Aside from laying claim to stunning action sequences, The Flash has especially excelled at crafting compelling interpersonal relationships between its major players, thereby lending itself to great drama and much levity. To date, we normally think of Barry Allen as being the nucleus at S.T.A.R. Labs, as we don’t often see too many of the characters fraternizing apart from the group unless it pertains to romantic pursuits.
Well, it looks like that’s about to change come this fall, proving that Barry and Cisco aren’t the only members of Team Flash who are allowed to be besties. As you’re aware of by now, episode 4×5 will be titled “Girls Night Out” and will see Arrow‘s Felicity Smoak make her return to Central City. Word on the street is that Iris West’s bachelorette party will be seen in said installment, which we have to admit sounds entirely plausible.

Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff has officially joined the cast of The Flash in a recurring role. According to EW, the actress will take on the role of the DC Comics villain Amunet Black, a.k.a Blacksmith.
The character is described as "a steely and badass boss of an underground black market for supervillains. Amunet uses every means possible, including the long list of metahumans under her thumb, to ensure her illicit enterprise thrives."
The character is set to make her debut in episode 405, which is titled “Girls Night Out.” The episode is also said to serve as a mini-crossover with Arrow as Emily Bett Rickards will appear in it as Felicity.
I'm a big fan of Sackhoff and it's always great to see her land a new role in something. It'll be fun to see her play a villain in The Flash! The Flash returns Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.

Having already generously broadened the series’ scope by adding characters such as the Thinker, Elongated Man and Hazard to the highly anticipated fourth season, the producers of The Flash aren’t wasting any time when it comes to further mining the DC pantheon. What makes their latest addition to the cast especially exciting is that the actress they’ve managed to secure is somebody already well known to the geek community.

Last week here I wrote about the Kickstarter that’s currently running for Unmasked Volume 2. It’s still going strong, so check it out if you haven’t yet.
This week is all about the Meatspace Universe Omnibus Collection on Kickstarter. It’s a video game revenge thriller in a cyberpunk setting written by Josh Gorfain with various artists including Andrew MacLean. This Kickstarter will be funding an ambitious expansion of the Meatspace-Verse including a prequel volume and a sequel volume illustrated by one of my favorite artists, Sean Von Gorman. They currently have a little under three weeks to raise another $12,000 to reach their goal.
I got the chance to chat with Sean and Josh about this Kickstarter the other which you can read below.
Joe: Sean, Josh, what are your elevator pitches for Meatspace Volume 2?
Sean: Full Body Amputee turned Cyborg fights for Internet fame and sometimes Crime...

From the earliest days to the 3Ds and Switch, we look at how Nintendo, more than any other company, defined handheld games...
Handheld games, it could be argued, are Nintendo’s very foundation. After all, a pack of playing cards is the ultimate analogue handheld game - portable, and playable almost anywhere, assuming you have a steady surface to lay them on. And it was as a manufacturer of playing cards that Nintendo first began way, way back in 1889, and, to this day, a plaque that reads, “The Nintendo Playing Card Company” still hangs on the old company headquarters wall in Kyoto.

TNT’s Leverage resumes its fourth season this Sunday at 9/8c, rejoining what has in recent months become a ferociously competitive night of TV. Luckily, the caper drama has some of its most clever (and noisiest) episodes in the pipeline. Among them, there’s a riff on The Office (where Nate’s team infiltrates a workplace that is the subject of a documentary), “girls night out” and “boys night out” episodes that fit together like a puzzle, and a season finale that promises to trot out “a foe from the past.” TVLine invited Aldis Hodge, who plays Hardison aka “The Hacker,...

Why did Chloe get a smile on her face when she met the new Mai girls? Haven't Valentina, Jasmine and Alek made it clear that everyone is out to get her? Any new acquaintance should be suspect until they prove themselves otherwise. How can the Uniter be so open and still say safe?
Did anyone really think that a simple night of dancing could possibly be just that? One of the sisters (honestly, I couldn't tell them apart) took a human into the bathroom and kissed him to death.
Amazingly he was spread out across three stalls, and not one girl sent out an alarm before they left. I've been to clubs, and I know how often girls to to the restroom. To think that not one hit the stalls all night is just not possible. I hope that last week's episode of reasonable plausible deniability wasn't just a fluke.
