Blahblahbla....... adfinitum... Could write more but it is not necessary. Watch Thorp, the team pull it off, it will make you feel better. Nothing more needs to be said.
  • It's hard to decide which is worse the acting or the soundtrack. The soundtrack is typical horrendous'80s sounds recorded on a cheap cassette tape that's playing on batteries running empty while submerged underwater. Yes it's pretty bad the acting is so bad I don't know if this guy is trying to be another Napoleon Dynamite but it's not going to work he's just not funny I don't know how many more times I can. Hear the line I'm looking for Sam, do you know sam,This movie is so darn bad I assure you there's nothing funny there's nothing quirky there's nothing refreshing about it this movie is completely vile.
  • No technical marvels, but a lot of love behind this movie made it a pleasurable watch. I lost track of time and was invested so much in Thorp's search and the people he encountered on the way.
  • What a delightful movie to watch, and it was made on such a small budget! Can you imagine what they could have done with a studio budget? Hey Hollywood elites, you should be ashamed.

I thought the acting and the story were both wonderful. It probably helps if you, like me, fondly remember the 80's. Like this movie, it was fun and everyone didn't take themselves so seriously.

One of the comparisons to the 80's as opposed to now is the changes that have taken place because of technology. Of course, since Thorp last visited earth in the 80's, he doesn't quite understand what is going on with it.

Spaceman returns to his childhood home in, I assume, the NorthEast. Is essentially about his relationships with various women in the three stages of womanhood: Sam/Olivia(young girl), Rachel(woman), and Pauline(old). Has a strong "too much gadget/screentime" angle throughout, which I guess works.
