  • This show really shows how a dude who suck at life feels, i relate to that, and the animation is just beutiful. I didnt read the manga, but i guess Tomozaki will try to be extrovert, or act different than he is, and then maybe he will understand the true self or something. Really exited for tomorrows episode.
  • You can watch it but you have keep your hopes very low. Its storyline first goes fast then gets slow. Its not very interesting. And i don't think it is romcom anime. Its only romance anime. I suggest watch it but don't keep high hopes you won't enjoy it.
  • I want another season but I know not to get my hopes up.

It was written for the end of the 2nd season. They are trying to explain the romantic anime, they are trying to explain it in detail and they are trying to express the inner world of the characters, but it has some of the general romantic anime problems such as "CHARACTER INCONSISTENCY" and "UNREAL CHARACTER". I didn't notice that there was a proper rapprochement with the kukici this season. The guy we called Tomozaki was supposedly a loser. No girl in the world would be grateful to the guy and continue to be friends with him when he rejects her and goes to another girl (in front of her eyes). Especially after the girl asked me out on a date, but the anime wasted a lot of my mim by ruining the character it wrote. However, throughout the season, Tomozaki had become close to him in every sense. While trying to add so much sincerity to the story, present a plot and capture romance, it is difficult to perceive a season ending that wasted so much and forced the character to say "you haven't lost anything". This season was very bad.
  • Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki is a gamer who is ranked 1 in the popular fighting game TackFam. He defeats his classmate Nakumura, who is arrogant and blames the game, characters, and matchups. Tomozaki proves it's a matter of skill, talent, and effort, even with the worst matchups. He takes pride in his devotion to the game and refuses to accept baseless slander from someone who hasn't put in the work.

In contrast, Tomozaki's first interaction with Hinami reveals that he is Nakumura in TackFam, blaming others for his personal woes and believing there is a social hierarchy he can't break free from. He believes that some people are born better than others, and this point of view is directed towards TackFam. Tomozaki's hypocrisy is demonstrated when he rebukes the point of view directed towards TackFam, proving that it's not different in reality. The show's main focus is on Tomozaki's dedication to the game and his ability to overcome challenges.

In short, for those who have watched 'Saekano: How to raise a boring Girlfriend', This anime could be named as "How to raise a Boring Gamer Boyfriend". But it is enjoyable and funny. In many scenes you can relate with the awkwardness of the main character Tomozaki. The characters are all likeable.

This anime has everything to be a good anime: decent story, good pace, nice animations and last but no the least 'Kawai Girls'.

So give it a watch...you'll understand in the first episode if this anime is for you.

Bottom tier sure does sucks, but with the help of a life Coach u just go for it and then there u got that feeling of belonging that's what i see here, so if you're a bottom tier like u know who then help ur self there's more to go around here. Gone.
  • Animation is pretty good ...story gets better with each episode ....the MC sticks to his ideals of being honest but also improves in life simultaneously ... definitely needs a S2 :)
  • Starts off rather interesting with a character you can't help but root for, but then midway through it gets annoyingly melodramatic and spends too much time focused on an exhausting character that can't accept coming in second place. Very disappointing.

    10/10
    Unique
I like the story because I am a man like that. It's really hard to talk to the opposite sex, especially when I'm at school. I'm really awkward with girls and I don't have any girl friends. I learned a lot from this anime to improve my social speaking skills. The character development that I have to exemplify as a man who is awkward even though it seems impossible for me, but the story is really inspiring. The music is good, one of the Japanese music that I like even though I don't understand the meaning hehehe. Overall, I enjoy watching it from start to finish, I rarely get a relaxing anime that doesn't make me bored in the middle of the storyline. So interested in reading the manga.

Tomozaki is the most highest rated gamer in japan. However, he is not a very out going or people kind of person. He takes lesson from one of his attractive classmates Aoi Hinami on how to become a better person by assigning him task and relating them to obstacles in a game.

The anime is very fun and relaxing to watch as romcom. It explores the diffrence between how someone can be shown when they are behind a screen to when they are in the real world.

Also the intro is really cool.

    I definitely recommend this.

Truly an all round awesome anime. It teach you that how you could change your life by sincere efforts. It kind of gives you a new perspective to every day life. Our brain needs dopamine for motivation when we try to work for achieving something. And if the effort is long term then it gets really difficult because your wins are much far in between. This anime tells you how you could achieve daily wins by improving in your daily life and stay enthusiastic.
  • This might be the best one i have ever seen so far... Giving it 10 stars... And its also similar to Saekano (another anime)

Character development thought the series is phenomenal, Recommend for a change of pace and a fun themed romance/comedy!
  • I'd like to recommend to all of u. U can give it a shot. It wouldn't upset u. A unique story i can say. Looking forward to 2nd season.
  • It is very interesting to see Tomozaki playing the game of life, acquiring skills and overcoming his past. All episodes are excellent, show real life as a game that can be won and Aoi Hinami offers to be your step-by-step guide.
  • The plot is quite simple yet intriguing for me cause the simple thought that some things like having a conversation could be so easy like breathing for some, while for some it might prove to be much harder task. I like the point of view to treat life like a game and trying to level up. But this is just my opinion cause I am a simp for a zero to hero story.

This anime's story, characters and animation are really good. Overall I love this anime a lot.

But I don't give 10 star because Tomozaki and Aoi don't end up together in the light novel. Instead he end up with Kikuchi. I am really disappoint about that. But the anime didn't show that. If they make season 2 the will show it.

Overall the anime series is enjoyable to watch. I really recommend it.
