2024 was truly a great year for horror films, offering up some of the best the genre has had to offer in years. There were supernatural crime thrillers like Longlegs, body horror epics like The Substance, and coming-of-age, poetic indie films like I Saw the TV Glow. This is always fantastic, however, due to the over-saturation of horror in the media, many great movies went under the radar completely. This is true for Tyler Chipman's independent, feature debut, The Shade.

Has a new Sister Wives production team taken it upon themselves to expose Kody Brown? It was believed he was getting a good edit thanks to a close relationship with producers. Now, it appears a new group is working on the hit TLC reality series who are not so fond of Kody. Therefore, they have no problem showing who he really is. So, how are they doing this? Keep reading for more details.
Kody Brown Exposed By New Production Team
A while back, it came out that Robyn and Kody Brown were essentially neighbors with a Sister Wives producer. This was questionable behavior as it made it seem like he was getting a favorable edit due to the friendship. Fans wondered if this was a good edit, what would a bad Kody edit look like? His best edit came out at the tell-alls when host, Sukanya Krishnan was not hard on Kody or Robyn.

Tyler Chipman’s “The Shade” (2023) revolves around a 20-year-old man struggling with anxiety issues since his father’s death. He suffers from panic attacks and tries to keep it together in his regular life. His mother and younger brother live with him. The guy’s older brother stays away and is intentionally distant for reasons that gradually become clear in the film. After Benjamin Barfoot’s “Daddy’s Head” for Shudder, this is another psychological horror film exploring the emotional burden of loss and grief. “The Shade” tries to tie together its haunting themes in its final moments. If you can’t make sense of the ending, find the explanation here.
Spoilers Ahead

Directed by Tyler Chipman, The Shade is a horror drama that attempts to discuss the scarring impact of generational trauma. As a thematic idea, it does sound great, but when it comes to execution, the film fails. As someone who enjoys a good slow burn, The Shade’s pacing seemed unnecessarily slow and the reactions a little repetitive. By the time the film arrives at the climax, the interest is long gone, and most of the questions I had in mind remained unanswered. The relationship and connection between the men in the family was not explored to its full potential, which resulted in a lack of clarity. Overall, The Shade will neither impress someone hoping to experience something profound nor will it excite horror genre fans.

All. The. Shade.
That’s what one of Kody Brown’s kids just hurled at her very own father.
And, to be honest? We’re totally here for it.

On the latest episode of The Authentic Society podcast, the 29-year-old — who is the child of Kody and ex-spouse Janelle Brown — detailed her decision to cut her famous (infamous?) father out of her life.
“I have no contact with some of my family, and it’s because of stuff that has happened,” said Maddie, who is pregnant with her fourth child with husband Caleb Brush.
The reality star held little back on this podcast, say that “some people just don’t deserve to be in your life” and then adding:

Olivia Macklin and Dylan McTee are set to lead Paul Etheredge’s paranormal parenting thriller “Psychopomp” alongside Shawnee Smith, Avangeline Friedlander and Lily D. Moore.
The horror will spotlight Macklin and McTee as a couple who foster a “mute orphan” (portrayed by Friedlander). The child, however, has endured a calamitous past that will haunt the family.
“This act of love turns to horror when they find themselves besieged by a terrifying entity intent on destroying this newfound family from within,” reads the film’s official logline.
Macklin is best known for her role as Madre in the television miniseries “The Young Pope.” Additionally, she has starred in “Pretty Smart” and “Christmas Always Finds Its Way.” She’ll be seen next in Richard Lagravense’s “A Family Affair” led by Joey King, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron.

Singer Shakira joined a popular trend on TikTok as she seemingly took a jab at her ex-partner Gerard Pique. Earlier this month, Gerard, 36, went Instagram official with his new 23-year-old girlfriend Clara Chia, reports ‘Mirror.co.uk’.
It came after Shakira released an explosive diss track about the father of her children following their bitter split. The two, who share two children together, ended their relationship after 11 years together.
In a new TikTok video, Shakira mopped her kitchen floor as she lip-synced to Sza’s viral song “Kill Bill”.
“I might kill my ex, not the best idea/His new girlfriend’s next, how’d I get here?” she sang to the camera as quoted by ‘Mirror.co.uk’. “I might kill my ex, I still love him though/Rather be in jail than alone.”
Fans were loving the clip and took to the comment section to support the She Wolf songstress.

DC’s Stargirl kicked off Season 3 on Tuesday with a Neil Diamond tune, before teasing a torn Cosmo, shaking up the rejuvenated Jsa, and then leaving us with a killer cliffhanger.
Set to “Coming to America,” the opening montage catches us up on life in Blue Valley some weeks after Eclipso’s thwarted reign of terror. Courtney and the fam are on their way back from a trip to Yellowstone, Jakeem (with Thunderbolt in tow) is out lobbing newspapers (including onto The Shade’s doorstep)… Rick has re-buried Solomon Grundy (and apparently not for the last time!), and Beth’s...
