Imagine Larry David — arguably the most successful comedy writer alive today — sits down at your pitch meeting. That’s exactly what happened to the “Late Night With Seth Meyers” writers, including a very exasperated Meyers, when David dropped by the show for a hilarious sketch. The “Seinfeld” co-creator was there to promote the ninth season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which makes its triumphant return to HBO on October 1st. The lovable misanthrope plays an exaggerated version of himself on “Curb,” and he trotted out the same character for the hilarious sketch.
When Meyers suggests introducing David to his fellow writers by having them each state their names, David interrupts with “Eh,” accompanied by a signature shrug. “Not necessary, I’m good,” he says. When Meyers shows surprise, David says what we all we wish we could in situations like that: “I’ll learn it gradually, I’m not gonna remember it anyway.

This is definitely Not your Dad's Marvel TV show. And that's a very good thing.
Visually dazzling, whipsaw smart, subversive, yet with surprisingly wacky comedic elements, Legion Season 1 Episode 1 is one of the most innovative takes on the somewhat overdone superhero genre in many a year.
What really makes this one so good is the work of actor Dan Stevens, who plays our troubled hero David Haller.
Seems that David has been diagnosed with mental illness since childhood, which was hilariously depicted to the old Who tune "Happy Jack."
The whole look and feel of this show is just different, almost as if it takes place in the mod London 1960's.
David: It's just Thursday. Like the 260th Thursday as a passenger on the cruise ship "Mental Health." On the plus side I've mastered eating with a spoon.
Amy: You're getting better. The voices - you're not seeing things that aren't there?...

Roberto Duran is definitely one of the greatest boxing legends who stepped into the ring.
From director Jonathan Jakubowicz, Hands Of Stone follows the life story of the Panamanian professional boxer known for his devastating punching power to earn the nickname “Manos de Piedra.”
The story follows the boxer growing up in Panama and training at a young early age. He falls in love with a young woman and later adopts a well-known boxing training in New York City for the next stages of boxing championships and greatness. The movie also shows the building rivalry between himself and Sugar Ray Leonard to the ultimate showdown at the No Mas Fight.
Lrm had a sit-down interview with Jonathan Jakubowicz at a press day in Beverly Hills earlier this month. He talked about Roberto Duran, his two actors’ transformations of Edgar Ramirez and Usher Raymond III, and creating Latino hero movies.

Clutch has killed somebody recently.
This goes without saying.
For as long as Clutch can remember, he has always killed somebody “recently.” If not within the last few hours, then certainly within the last few days. He may have gone as long as a couple of weeks without, from time to time, when circumstances conspired against him. But never as long as a month, no, not for living memory.
Of course, Clutch has never had much of a memory. All the events of his violent life pass before him like dream-images, fading into the past almost as soon as the screams people make...

While this week may be freezing, it hasn’t stopped people from talking all about bikinis. The new trend ‘bikini bridges’ have been popping up all over Instagram after a forum used the phrase to cause the attention — well you’re getting it from me — and not in a good way.
A “bikini bridge” is defined as “bikini bottoms are suspended between the two hip bones, causing a space between the bikini and the lower abdomen,” according to Urban Dictionary. You’ve seen the pics that show them all – celebrities like Rihanna and Heidi Klum have posted it on their Instagram. However, those gorgeous celebs don’t actually have a bikini bridge in their perfectly-angled pics — does this make them less sexy?

Welcome to “It Is Known – Season 3 Deconstructed”! Every week, you will find my extensive review of the week’s episode of Game of Thrones.
I will explore the narrative that the show weaves. And what a narrative indeed! The story is complex, the characters are manifold, the twists and turns unexpected. I will deconstruct the episodes piece by piece, moving from character to character. This is an unusual approach, I admit, and a bit cumbersome at times, but the show basically does the same. The episodes are just parts of one, epic story, and as parts we have to examine them if we hope to get everything that happens.
There will be no real spoilers for future events, but I will reference the books from time to time, so if you haven’t read them, you might want to be careful around these reviews, although I’ll try to keep the references cryptic.
