The people giving this "ones" in their reviews are the people he's talking about in the show. (Bends over and makes high pitched farting noise) These are the people easily offended he is making fun of.
  • Clearly, this standup routine does not deserve a "one" as so many reviewers gave. Reviews were either very high or were "ones."

He was full of energy and his material was original. His coverage of COVID is still too close to home for many, and these bottom reviews probably reflect it. Same goes for the political incorrectness. A lot of people are probably offended and would rather trash his routine instead.
  • I wasted an hour watching this comedy special. I stuck it out because of the positive reviews on this page, however Jim's delivery was entirely insufferable throughout the whole special. Thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the comedy presented in the hour of this video.

The topics addressed in the special aren't necessarily taboo, the jokes are just simply awful. Objectively bad.

Over-exaggerated caricatures of people that don't exist paired with loud obnoxious noises does not make good comedy.

Production value was so poor for a person that has supposedly been performing comedy for two and a half decades.

The bonus star is for the one time I kind of half smiled through the special.

In summary, did not expect much and somehow I still ended up being thoroughly disappointed. Awful viewing.
  • Jim breuer is the only comedian ive seen in my lifetime who can literally do a hilarious sketch without any other cast members right in the middle of a stand up special. He has the best references to current events.

Im a big fan of dark humor and dirty comedy but jim breuer is the only "clean" comedian ive found to be equally funny as the great dirty comics like joey diaz, ralphie may, bill burr etc.

The man has comedy in his blood.

We need more jim breuers to keep comedy alive.

He sure would have made hundreds of more hilarious sketches if SNL didn't decide to steal his material back in the day not leaving him a choice but to quit.
  • Just not funny at all. You can replace the subject matter with literally anything and this would still be painstakingly hard to watch. I can't believe anyone could rate this a 10. This whole loud=funny thing hasn't worked before and i don't know why it would work today. I would spend money to avoid having to watch this again. Comedy is subjective, but this is objectively bad comedy. The caricatures of people who don't exist are overdrawn and just lame. I'm amazed that this guy has a career at all. He was good in half baked, but that's probably because he was told what to do and say. Since he lacked any guidance here it's apparent he doesn't know what he's doing. I would advise anyone considering watching this to find something funnier. I wouldn't subject my enemies to this cringe worthy empty comedy. Fuuuuuuck me.

There is not one comedian under the living population who brings more laughs than Jim. Like the very best comedians, he also tells the truth. He's a Mensch and the whole cancel culture community has here someone who will not bow to them.
  • I don't really care about being politically correct in comedy. I love Bill Burrs comedy. But maaan....this guy sucks! Just not funny. How are people laughing in the audience? I am dumbfounded.
  • Warning: Spoilers
I wish this comedy special was offensive, or at least special. I used to be a fan of Jim's, even had his one albums, Smoke n' Brew (given it was funnier when I was 14). He seems to have failed to evolve as a comedian, basically doing the Dane Cook noises and animated acting that would land in the early '00s without any observations to back it up. He does a Covid bit after Covid is finished basically by making noises to imitate an archetype that doesn't exist, cliche plane jokes that are worse than the ones in the '90s, and cliche toilet jokes. I was excited to see he had a new special and was surprised to learn that his act didn't evolve, he's doing bits that are no longer topical by the time the special comes out, and tries to increase his audience by pandering to an obsessed extreme minority. Hey, at least this special beats Brendan Schaub and Hannah Gadsby.
