I see only one other review here which is fine, but the "review" in itself poses many problems. For one, the main characters were NOT drug dealers; DeAndre & his crew were money laundering for the elite of Chicago through an anonymous businessman named "Mr. Alexander," or "Mr. A" which was only a nickname that the protagonist-turned-antagonist DeAndre was allowed to call him. Secondly, the narrator was in fact "Pretty Boy" but he was NOT the one who shared Isis with DeAndre. In fact, DeAndre enlisted his childhood friend Winston to "come at Isis strong" so DeAndre could know if he could trust her & build a relationship, resulting in Isis & Winston unexpectedly falling in "love." As silly a premise as this is, this remains a staple for bored people who peruse through Wal-Mart's $5 bins of obscure movies & it is quite worth the value, as the whole "hood classics" collection comes on 2 dics of 5 unknown movies each. "Trust" happens to stand out as the most organic, although lacking actual substance & logic while still, shockingly, being based on true events. It makes me cringe at the visual & sound effects reminiscent of a Power Point presentation, but it provides enough cheesy entertainment & laughs for me to enjoy it during a "bad movie night."
